I just purchased one of the 65th anniversary good luck trolls at Walmart. It's got pink hair and the shirt that it's wearing says I ❤Trolls with blue denim shorts! My oldest sister used to collect the trolls back in the 90s and I remember the pencil topper ones, so cute!

Awesome! I saw that one when I bought mine. I might have to pick that one up too. I'd love to see them come out with pencil topper ones again too.

I miss my trolls! H had one with pink hair I took into my final Year 12/Senior Year exams in 1994! And another one as a pencil topper.

Oh I love trolls! They were some of my favorites as well growing up. I used to have two trolls with the hard plastic heads and soft bodies. And if you squeezed their body, they're eyes would light up.

I had totally forgotten about those types of trolls. I actually had one. I also had a traditional plastic one that had light up eyes and they would flash and I think they were red so it was really kind of creepy. But I loved it! Thanks for reminding me about those. 😃💜

I’m going to have to say my “favourite” troll is the pencil topper because that gave me super nostalgia, but esthetically I prefer the Zelf. Thank you for sharing, this is a really fun video ❤

I remember having a troll in the early days but they couldn't compete with my various Barbies lol. Just wondering how a retro troll looks like? I love the larger pink & blue character trolls, they're cute. It's so fun the older brands toys coming back. 💜💜 for opening up the zelf.

Trolls have always been such a favorite of mine and I always regret not keeping more of my collection. I hope the ones I donated years ago are all in good homes. Rebuilding my collection has been so much fun though. I might have to do a whole video on Zelfs, and open a few more! 💜💜

I still have all of my trolls! I grew up with the ones that have gem stones on their bellies, but I do have the pencil topper and a keychain. I’ve never heard of Zelfs and loves them! Thank you for sharing your collection and opening new ones!

Interesting! I have a large, (12 inch), DAM troll that was bought for me in the early '70s. I was surprised that my parents agreed to buy me what was considered quite a freaky doll/toy. She has since become my favourite doll companion; several years ago I bought her own companion/mate on e bay. I have followed the subsequent generations of trolls but not added to my troll family largely due to cost and space! I am glad that you have remained loyal to the troll extended family!

A 12 inch 70's troll sounds absolutely magical! Definitely cherish that. I mainly collect trolls now buying them secondhand at thrift stores. I love rescuing old toys and cleaning them and restoring them.

I like this video. I just scored one of the 65th anniversary Good Luck Trolls after seeing them in Walmart not too long ago. On a related note, the Dam Company is still very much alive and well, and they still maintain the rights to the Trolls in their native Denmark. Dreamworks handles the Trolls in other countries, including the US.

So glad you got one of the trolls. I picked up another one of the small ones just recently too. I think I mentioned that about the Dam company and DreamWorks. It's really interesting to me that DreamWorks handles the distribution of trolls except in Denmark. I wonder if we'll ever see trolls that look how they did in the 90's again? I really love that style.
