L.A. is a massive city. It includes concrete jungles, beaches and mountains. People share this environment with wildlife. Coyote and deer routinely walking the foothill communities. Most of the wildlife escaped the fires. They aren’t stupid. Most pets were saved. The real devastation are homes and businesses. These areas will never be the same.

Regarding the fires in LA and Trump's comments that there is nothing Canada provides that the US requires. No doubt there are many in LA who are appreciative of the contingent of Canadian firefighters who are fighting fires despite Trump's disrespect for Canadians.
