Everytime I hear Ahmed's story, I can't stop myself from crying. During Ramadan, I came across one of the Shaykh Bilal Assad's lectures two years ago in which he was narrating this story. This story makes me hold on to my Allah and His beautiful religion tightly. Because His mercy encompasses all things. If we repent, He is merciful even to the worse of us, Alhamdulillah. If he was a good muslim at least he could see his children from time to time. To me he is worthless!! But Allah knows best. Maybe this was my test. So I am gratefull.

Subhanallah, Allahuakbar! Just the guilt what 'Ahmad' had was next level. Alhamdullilah he had it. Otherwise the sin became normal to him and just do the sin over and over again and guess what, if he repents after all, Allah still would forgive. Because Allah is the Ghafur Arahim! But not everyone is so lucky to repent when they have the chance. So don't play with fire!
