Hi Pierre, I think the best answer is CEBU, I'm from Cavite but I hear a lot of good reviews in Cebu city, the city is Huge, the city is Rich (I think Cebu is one of the Richest city in the PH) , the city has a lot of beautiful tourist spots, and has also a lot of foreigners so you might not get out of place, the people speaks good English, and also a lot of opportunities for you to get a Job for you to live a life. All you need in life I think is in Cebu. Tap like if you're agree Guys.
@leoangelobirao4732Ай бұрын
I agree. If you don't want to move around, Cebu might be the best option. You'll get to experience city life and country life. BINI Aiah is from Cebu, specifically from Lapu-Lapu City. There are a lot of tourists and tourist spots (a lot of beaches) in Cebu as well, so you don't need to worry. Also, if you would want to move to a different island, you'll get to travel at ease since Cebu is basically located at the center of the Philippines.
@hervs_ytАй бұрын
For me, it's Bohol. I hate the traffic in Cebu, much like in Metro Manila, Metro Davao, or even Baguio. But I didn't experience that in Bohol...just saying 😊🥰
@yehsoojin7781Ай бұрын
Cebu’s traffic isn’t as bad as Manila tho. I’d say the worst traffic in Cebu city would be a maximum of 1hr and only on rush hours 6-7am, 4-6pm. But normally this happens in the most busiest highways in the cities where workplace and schools are near. What makes Cebu a great place for vacations is that you’d get best of both worlds, city life and island life. It’s not too urbanized as Makati and not too rural like any other provinces in the Philippines. And I’d say airport in Manila is the worst thing ever as a tourist, i think the best airport for me is Cebu. Less hassle more organized.

Whenever I hear provinces such as Bohol, Nueva Viscaya, Laguna, Cebu, Batangas, etc. or meet a kababayan coming from those places, I get a weird feeling that I have to thank them. Appreciation for OPM and Pinoy musikeros have changed bec of these girls. I recommend Bohol or Kalibo. These still seem rural with a very island vibe but close enough to a metro and a decent airport. Never been to Palawan. But if legends are true, it is supposed to be like heaven on earth. But still, my dream is to settle in Kalibo. Still probinsya life but you're right next to the vibrant life of the best beach island in the world - Boracay.

25:48 as Maloi once said “Aiah’s laughter sounds insulting” and agreed, Sheena’s smile is everything 😂 I flew back to PH (from US) for BINIverse, even without a ticket, I recommend you going to the venue/Araneta. The vibe was electric and lots of your subscribers will be there for sure because they’ll be flying in to Manila for the concert. Also lots of Blooms give out free PCs and other BINI related stuff. After Manila, I recommend spending the rest of your time in Cebu or Bohol. There’s lots of things to do, close to a big airport and majority of the people are comfortable speaking English to assist you. There’s a unique culture in the Philippines, you can be in the middle of the city but you will feel “the heartbeat” of the Filipinos/Philippines. Having just said that, you don’t have to go far from the city to have the calm/peaceful atmosphere you’re looking for. I’m available if you want advice 🫰🏼

It sounds like flying into into Cebu City is the best route for you. Dumaguete is only a ferry ride away. Boracay, Siargao, Bohol and other smaller islands are nearby and worth trips themselves whenever you feel like it. Bacolod and Sipalay are also less well known but are more relaxed as a result. All of these are only a ferry ride away, which is a common transport everyday folks use. And the ferry ride itself is part of the appeal as it is relaxing being on the water and seeing all these tropical islands with clear blue waters and clear air. The ferry ride itself is the trip itself. And the cheap seafood, especially the fresh seaweed salads that Cebu city is known for (I was eating those everyday for every meal when I was there). ?Westerners would pay $$$ for these that you can get for literal cents. And they cannot be exported (not in its fresh, raw and best form)so it's definitely a thing that you cannot eat anywhere else. Honestly I'd move to Cebu City just for these. The good thing abouyt Cebu City vs Manila is that you get all the cosmopolitan aspect of it (Cebu has a lot of international visitors) but in a smaller scale compared to Manila. Manila is great too but it can be a tad overwhelming, I'll be honest with you. It's definitely an acquired taste and very rewarding when approached the right way and you have the right mindset. Manila has pretty bad air pollution too, although its better vs 20 years ago, it's still bad especially compared to someone from the West used to effective Clean Air acts. And I say this as someone who grew up in Makati (South Cembo, not the fancy parts) and Bacoor, Cavite (family home and my home base whenever I'm in the Philippines). Once you are more settled in the South then Manila is still worth a visit. I havent even mentioned the traffic. My god the traffic. And the metro system is not fully built out yet so you will have to deal with traffic to get around, you have no choice. Really though, it sounds like the South islands are more your thing esp since you seem to jive with Visayans more.

Hi Pierre! You're my favorite reactor for BINI. I just love how much you've grown to genuinely love their music, personalities, and eventually the Blooms/Filipinos too. Regarding your planned visit here and with the things that you've mentioned, I would recommend you either Dumaguete, or Bacolod. These cities have a more laid back vibe and not too crowded/bustling as Metros like Manila, Davao, or Cebu, but still have good to at least decent infrastructure and services for travel, healthcare, and communications. They are also near a lot of other nice cities and tourist places that you can visit if ever one day you woke up and felt being adventurous, or just wanna try the awesome food in that region.

Nicely done Sir Pierre plotting down each of the respondent's location. 😍 As you can see on your map, there are heavy concentration of Blooms around the Manila area because it happens to be the National Capital Region (NCR) and it is composed of adjacent cities with dense population. Quezon by the way is pronounced as "keh-zon" and was named after a Philippine president. Aiah on the video is indeed cooking spring/egg rolls and may compose of ground meat, vegeatables, and/or seafood. She specifically said that it is not "turon" (sliced banana wrapped) which looks similar. 😅

If you're gonna base in Quezon City (Cubao area is the most convenient base if you'd roam a lot) you can visit/it'll be easier for you to visit nearby provinces like Rizal, and Laguna. There are also bus stations in Quezon City that will take you to either the northern or southern provinces.

Hi Pierre, that's awesome to know that you'll be visiting PH! I suggest you go visit The Queen City of the South, CEBU! I would also like to suggest some places up north, but most of the time and as it's also reported that it might be more rainy in PH late this year, so there might be more rains up north due to monsoon rains and sometimes typhoons that usually develop in the Pacific (East of PH) and passes Luzon going north west. So visiting Cebu, Bohol, Dumaguete, Iloilo, could be the options for you. Although typhoons nowadays sometimes passes through Visayas too, the chances of more rains are more likely in Luzon area during that time and hopefully you won't catch one when you come here. 😅 Best time to visit the Philippines are during our dry/colder season which is around Late December - March, and April- May (Summer) 😁

The Philippines is a third-world country, the Filipino life is not always as pretty as the pictures that google shows you but the Filipino people are very warm and welcoming to foreigners! You would definitely enjoy the food! I highly suggest that you go to Cebu since you can experience both the city and rural life there. Cebu is just like Manila but there are a lot more tourist spots and you would feel more connected to the nature. Another one could be Siargao, specially if you really don't want to move too much and if you like enjoying the nature (it has a lot of beautiful beaches). There is also this thing called the "Siargao Curse" in which people who go there often wants to stay there or come back immediately after their first trip. Both Cebu and Siargao has a lot of foreigners so you would probably feel more at ease compared to Manila. I really hope you get to enjoy the Philippines and the Filipino culture as a whole!
@abyss128Ай бұрын
Dumaguete and siargao, plenty of expats that can help you how efficiently travel and assimilate at the same time, they can guide what are the dos and donts and places to avoid,you can also experience the simple life in province. If you are staying at metro manila places best to stay are bgc, makati and asean paranaque where mall of asia is located plenty of airbnb, for manila city itself it is good to explore several historical sites but it is really crowded and not as advance and clean as makati and taguig( bgc). As much as possible do not ride the taxis as they always ripoff foreigners, in the airport you can buy sim cards for you to use grab( like uber) app which much safer. Traffic is bad , bring plenty of patience. Good luck. Hope you meet Bini in person.
