I teach all the kids I take care of, whether they’re my patients, nieces & nephews, or friends’ kids, that their parents and I will have the same answer! Even when I get new patients, I have the conversation w/their parents about rules, discipline, behavior, etc. I tell them that we have to be on the same page ALL the time, or it just won’t work! So far, that’s the best thing I can do to help manage little ones. That way they know if I tell them something, their parents back me up, and vice versa! Otherwise, any kind of control or management of them in the home is a disaster!

What excellent parenting, and she'll probably use the same techniques with her partner and children. We used to do the same with my children. If one parent gives an answer, the other gives the same answer. 👍👍👍👌👌👌😁😁😁
