Nice video, the only little thing that I can say (being a bit of an ass) is that the take off climb rate isnt much different with the 4B, the big difference in climb rate is when the 4B changes supercharger at around 2km-3km the 4B goes to 2300hp max power. That is why in the dogfight you could energy trap the 4B probably, the 4B gets the 2300hp there and at the same time you are at like 2800hp or so.

It is good, fighting jets makes it better than when it has to face Ta 152 spam where you will never have an advantage over them. I've found that the teams are what ruin it, i can easily deal with a jet but when I'm getting ganked by like 3 or 4 maneuverable jets like the a21, meteor, and vampires then it becomes impossible even if i use my alt advantage to stall fight them all, one will show up as im falling and ruin everything.

Me too, i got the premium one because i loved the 4B that much, i got both aces with it, ace games (2) and ace crew. and for a person who's only been playing air RB for about 10 months I'm impressed with myself. i feel as if the F4U-4B VMF-214 is slightly heavier then the F4U-4B it may be because i only have an expert crew for the premium and an ace for the tech tree. Honestly i don't see why even with that absurd amount of horsepower you would put it at 6.7 anyways. the reason the H is at 6.3 is the guns imo and the F8F-1B is the overheating issue. you can't reach your max speed without overheating. despite it being a double wasp, the same engine on the corsairs (I seriously don't get why the overheating is so overly prevalent on the F8F-1B) I mean ngl the premium was worth it, in just one day of grinding and a literal 50% win rate because of either ju-288 spam draining tickets, or absolute garbage team I still earned over a million silver lions. in just like 6 hours

Since I play the game for collecting aircraft I prefer the 4 with fiddies. Although I would grind with 4-b for sure. Those ANM-3 won't spark even with 500 ping.

@@kaiburns4257 The -4B has 400hp more than the -4 at sea level, but the 4B's supercharger only works till 4000m, while the -4 can go all the way to 5500m with no problem. I think both are ok at their respective BRs, if you face a 4b ad you aren't russian you most likely can outclimb him. I personally prefer plaing with the 4B because it has like 250 rpg, so you do have enought firepower on board to get +5 kills without thinking of reloading

@@PoshBrother Yeah, i can't even count the number of times i tried energy trapping one of these, only for it somehow follow me into the stall climb until i stall out, kill me, and still have energy to maneuver out of it. It climbed, turned a full 180, and followed me into a stall climb, meanwhile i had dived and gotten a shit ton of speed, only for me to stall out first, die, and watch the F2G still have enough Energy to maneuver out of the climb, despite burning his energy in multiple different ways, while i did nothing but gain energy until the stall climb

If they added the F4U-5, that might make sense at 6.7 since it is essentially an F4U-4B that is slightly more aerodynamic, can carry more ordinance, and with a much better supercharger, making it retain horsepower a bit better than the P-51H-5. Basically a -4B that is still strong as hell at medium and high alts. That would have been even easier to add than the F2G: it is essentially an AU-1 that can't carry as many bombs under the wings, less armor, and different engine settings. It seems like gaijin poorly implemented this plane when there was a Corsair variant that would fill the same niche in matchmaking and it would have been even easier to add. Interesting side note: the F2G was cancelled because the increase in performance over the F4U-4 and F4U-5 wasn't significant. The low alt climb rate and acceleration were better but the top speed wasn't significantly improved, the high-alt performance was worse (probably due to the difference in superchargers available for the respective engines), and it was tougher to keep the 4-row, 28 cylinder wasp major cool compared to the 2-row, 18 cylinder double wasp. The time requirement to get everything possible out of the wasp major wasn't worthwhile since it was obvious in 1945 that jets would replace prop fighters and the double wasp was a fantastic engine that the air force and navy were very familiar with.

Yes, I totally agree. But I think that the F4U-5 would be a nice tech tree addition since it was large produced and served many years. The F2G is the best at low alt, the F4U-5 is a beast at all altitudes, the two stage variable speed supercharger makes magic!

@@Metrallaroja all corsairs had two-stage two-speed superchargers, the -5 had a different supercharger setup (twin sidewhweel superchargers) that were more efficient than previous models, which let it take advantage of the max 2800hp more easily as alt increased.

Imo, the p51 h5 is still one of the best props in the game. This thing is cool but the h5s performance is just so much better. The only problem is the p51s rep cost, but honestly its performance warrents it. I shit on 152s and bully other props (except for spits sometimes) all day long.

Did something happen to matchmaking after the major update? 6.7 is basically facing all 7.3s and 7.7s, and when you move to 8.7 its almost all 9.7s.....A Harrier and Yak38 swarm, you justn cant learn with the F86s and A4s for example, its disgusting...I felt so frustrated that i quit playing the game for a while...wtf is wrong...

I'm surprised I managed to get to slot 49 in not a lot of time ( first event I'm actually trying to do and I am getting the F2G in two days when I get the dailys.) I didn't even hardcore grind I just played and forgot the pass existed, used good vehicles and got all the normal challenges up to the Hedgehog and Co challenge in like a few weeks not even a full month. Well the stats of this plane at the moment are very wrong...it should have 3600hp WEP and 25m/sec climb rate according to trusted documents. The armament tho is the same as shown 6 50 cals. Im pretty sure they will update the stats soon.

And second You can read in many pages of museums etc about the F2G and specifically about the powerplant that it has , the Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major rated at 3000hp basic output and around 3500-3600hp in WEP mode. So there are actually many sources that prove it. You can read about the engine alone and see it for yourself.

It's an option at the start of the match that adjusts your weapon's fire vertically, so that it reach the croshair ar your convergence. If you have diferent caliber weapons with different convergences it can mess up your aim, I'd recomend leaving it off always
