I had ketu dasha from past 7years...my ketu is in 12 th house too.... Ketu in 12 th house indicates loss of wealth... That happened to me too although I thought there is no way for me to make losses since I'm a house wife.. Trust me God has his ways and I lost big money... But let me tell you I gained a lot in terms of spirituality... I learnt astrology, although it wasnt intentional, my friend got me enlisted into and astrology class... So I believe I was meant to learn astrology... But here the astrology I learnt gave me a lot of peace and guided me in terms of my family and my son... It showed me everything is going to ne ok... When some things are meant to happen and you have knowledge about it, uit gives you immense peace and calm.... I learnt pastlife regression therapy.... There again it was like a treasure that had been unravelled to me where I wouldn't trade it for anything monetary no matter how big.... I was feeding animals like stray dogs, cats and advocating my friends to spend their kids birthday money on animal charity... But all this I did unintentionally.... But it paid off big time all three of my family members escaped huge life threatning accident but a hairs breadth or by just scratches.... So be pure hearted and believe in serving gods creations like animals and trees and the elements with as much divinity as you would serve at a temple....ketu 12 th house means it would be your last birth on this planet.... So the intention of ketu dasha is to get used to being non materialistic.... So good wishes to you on your ketu dasha...

During my mercury dasha and ketu antardasha I broke up with my wife went through depression lived with my alcoholic dad which was a nightmare but all that chaos made me look within myself to see who I truly was as a person, I started studying Vedic astrology, Gnosticism, philosophy, a lot of spiritual studies, towards the end of the ketu antardasha I got back with my wife moved out and started to really change my ways I became more humble, I cut my so called friends from my life , I cut the partying, I cut a lot of things in my life that were toxic. It’s crazy because my ketu is in the 9th house in the nakshatra of Krittika. So cutting things to be more spiritual so after the sun ketu dasha passed I became a better person more spiritually aware thank you 🙏

Thanks, Kapiel. It's great to see SOME analysis that speaks to other potential outcomes of the Ketu dasha aside from the prominent all doom and gloom views. I have my asc almost at 0 degrees between Jyeshta and Mula, Mercury in Mula as lord of 8th house, Saturn's 10th aspect on full moon in 8th, and Rahu in Magha. Essentially Ketu, the moksh triangle, and 8th house have been active all my life leading to MANY life changing experiences and tremendous spiritual nature. The Ketu dasha sandhi took that spirituality to a zenith. So Ketu for a ketu-influenced soul is perhaps one of the most rewarding energies later in life :-)

I have an experience to share . I have ketu in 12th house with Jupiter and debilitated Venus. I have always written Poems , fantasy stories and songs since the age of 12 . All these qualities reached their peak in cancer mercury antardasha in SAGITTARIUS MOON MD. But when Ketu antardasha came Suddenly I fell ill one day and after I recovered I lost all these qualities. I’m a Scorpio and my kethu is in the 8th house (neech bung) and I was born with a retrograde Saturn in the 3rd on Saturn’s Uttar Bhadrapada 3 (Moon in Pisces). I lost everything in the first part of my Ketu mahadasha. almost killed myself! But when saturn anthar-dhasha came along I learnt jyotish, Sanskrit, Pali, Mantras and tantras; and being a buddhist I started meditating seriously and it has turned to the better in the latter half.

i think it is not only about ketu dasha, but for saturn ketu conjunction also, cuz saturn is karaka of career, sa+ke means no work, but i think it is not "no work", it is like your type of work should follow the way of ketu. it should be detached, so that's why it is not good to work in the crowd. i think this is why so many brillient people with sa+ke, they do business for them own, they deep dive into their work, and start from small, watering it, test it and with time to grow bigger. (all knowledge from megha vedic academy+my thinking^^)

But what happens if you have Cancer on the 6th house cusp instead of Virgo? Would Ketu then be activated by the Moon?

You just have to start all over again. Or just keep chanting without feeling you stopped. You must always be in a positive state when chanting. Mental catharsis comes in many ways all kinds of experiences happen ( no big deal) will continue if you are doing it sincerely. Just go with the flow and don’t think too much. ❤
