@NeuroGod I almost killed one as an allo when I was being chased by two. They are terrifyingly fast, but hey, as least you can take one down with you. As an allo, I apparently do more dmg than that do.

What it needs is a size reduction to the point of being somewhat smaller than a Rex or Giga like the real life studies suggest. Slow down its sprint and ambush to the point of still barely outspeeding Rex and getting outsped by Allo, but increase its stamina greatly so it can run longer. Slow its attack speed a bit, but raise its bleed affliction to be better than old Spoon yet weaker than Giga, and increase its bite force to 350 instead of 250. Also, please give Acro better bleed resistance and health regen, as well as a new model that doesn't make its tail a fishing lure. That should be appropriate. In addition, put the Acro and Sucho in their own tier please.

If two equally skilled players then Rex statistically wins because assuming both players make equally few mistakes, any mistake made is punished 1000% harder for the Acro than the Rex. Rex will never waste stamina and always keep teeth against Acro. Acro can't be caught but can't engage either. So it's just a stalemate until a mistake.

if acro attacks rex it have 10% chance off pulling it out and it that go up the more u bite the dam rex , becouse rex can kill acro just a few bites , bone break is every dinos worst enemy

Nice fight. Here's to hoping the Acro gets sweet justice with a rework in the future. Trade off a bit of that broken speed for more stamina, make the tail more static, lower its size to be proportional to the real life measurement, buff its weight class, buff either its bleed or bite force, and give it a somewhat small chance for bone break. Health stat could be 5000-5400 for simplicity compared to Rex's 6000, and definitely need to buff the Acro's healing abilities so it doesn't take hours to heal.

They are completely redesigning the game and how combat works. If they weren't, sure your suggestions make sense, but in the new iteration of the game we don't even know how it will work yet.

Because from what the devs posted, everything is getting new speed and the entire damage is calculated using weight has been confirmed to go away. With that gone, none of the current weight or damage values even make sense. Also we have no idea what they are gonna base health off of.

and the sad part is playing rex on a professional level isn’t that hard..the only real challenge that stands between you and success as a rex player is growth and being picked off in your younger stages of the play through, over all I’d give rex 8/10 as a good tank type build so somewhere along mid S tier tho let’s be honest the most powerful tank is the trike and never forget to have “aMbUsH sPeEd” as a rex.

I was an adult rex and 2 gigas and an acro wanted to kill me so I pinned myself so they couldn't go behind me and waited for one to make a mistake. THe giga made a mistake and I was able to break its leg and bite it killing it. I even said at the beginning, "You don't wanna do this" they underestimated me so bad lmao. We learn from the best am I right?

Not really considering rex is overpowered as hell, still. The reason me and many others love to hunt, annoy and kill them is because it's heavily overused and overpopulated. Also, tons of rex players are either pretty stupid or cocky as hell jerks, acting like they're immortal killing machines. They are so abundant that they probably make up 50% and over of the population on many servers, so you run into them pretty much every time you play. Makes them great "target practice" lmao.

@@gojirarex5138 I did see the vid and what i could see is exactly my experience: If the enemy doesn't make a mistake (not watching stamina for example) you can't do shit. Everything has a better turn radius and speed except your ambush which is easy to spot. I watch sticky a lot and even as a newbie i can tell (from the comments) that he is highly skilled and he as a rex most of the time kills everyone else (like 2gigas in a 1v2) but in such cases the comments are full of "they were noobs" or "they did a big mistake there". Or even sticky himself pointing out stuff like "they are way too close to me". Not saying that everyone is a pro like sticky who could see and use the (little) mistakes like he does but still even he has to wait for mistakes as rex.

Great video. Props to stick for digging this one out to the end, but the Rex is just too good. Despite his waste of stam early on he was still able to take it slow and win. Word of advice to all Rex players out there who find themselves in a hard spot like this, go to the trees... pin yourself in there and crouch. This fight would have ended a lot sooner.

No - acro can run around the rex with ambush speed, but it's not ideal cuz it's a very "tight" fit, have to stay perfectly just outside rex hitbox, not too far cuz then circle is bigger and you cant. SO Ideally (let's say if 2 gaming AI were playing) - Acro would win
