Here's the bald truth: The fun you have playing translates through to the viewers. Willjum actually has fun Solo-ing and just vibing, you can hear it in his "Just look at that view..." He makes the fun where he enjoys it. Wally just seems stressed and that's no fun for him and it translates through. Have fun. Post it. If it doesn't work, oh well. When it's turned into a regular "stressful job" the allure of "Being a big KZbinr" is either for you or it's not and there's no reason to stress yourself out that bad by turning something you loved into something you dread.

I understand other people like the farming, building, and things alike but we all have our preferences and wally has created his channel around pvp rather than story, so if he doesnt get pvp, he doesnt get a video, and he doesnt get paid...

Facts. If you look at the original KZbinrs from Rust that made it big, they all just had fun. Welyn, Bloo, Spoon, etc. Their play styles all differ a bit, and they're known for their own styles. I think the chads that play rust are far a few between, the majority of the audience enjoys the game for what it is - a survival.

Even if it isnt a revenge story with an amazing storyline and insane clutches i still think its an amazing video, when u watch those revenge story videos its like ur watching a movie, ur super into it, ur focused and ur living the movie, but those types of videos are different, when u watch them ur like "that could be me and my friends" and u just smile like a dumbass, its an amazing video cuz we just see you have fun with a friend, it changes from the super serious videos and its still amazing to watch, props to you!

Interesting direction and greatly liked the different approach. Was worried something horrible happened at wallys and truth is, it showcased that creators have a life outside rust like the rest of us. I do like the detailed story Frost puts out, but Willjum also found a great niche "the struggles of prim grinding." And many need to remember, willjum is 99% solo on popping servers. I feel that he gives those not hardcore into rust a relaxed game play. Love to see a duo or frost and willjum.

Tbh frost it’s not always the action it’s a lot of factors like how you mentioned wiljum he gets most of love from base building and cozy bases along with crude solo life. You on the other hand are famous for you amazing ability to create story’s that some are written and some aren’t but your cinematics is the strong part of your channel. Now I don’t really know Wally but it seems he’s quite pvp straight which is good ngl but there’s one problem with that everyone has pvp content and only the most popular channels get those subs so for Wally he needs to find something that no one’s else does and do in rust something new because different content that’s new makes it interesting because it’s never been seen before so that’s my advice for him and overall content creators all around.

Aight I'mma lay it out. As someone who watches Wally but doesn't sub, it's because like you mentioned with Willjum, there's a niche he needs to find. In my opinion/experience, you have two types of content creators, those like yourself who find story driven encounters or have scripted stories to tell (Rust movies etc), and those like Willjum who show the good, the bad, and the ugly. I've been subbed to Willjum since around 5-6k subs, because he is believable! Me, an average as hell Rust player can enjoy his content knowing I have a chance to have a playthrough like he does. You are great to watch for some engaging 'fantasy' level Rust, where I personally know I couldn't hit a barn door with an AK but I like the story behind the chad-ness. When I watch you I know I'm in for something I can enjoy because of the story, when I watch Willjum I enjoy it because I too am a farmer and roleplayer at heart who just loves Rust. Wallys content is like someone chasing a hype train. Go big or go home. And that gets really old really fast...

The reason most people watch willijm's videos is because it's Rust ASMR. He hangs out, chill vibes, mellow voice, builds pretty things, inevitably gets eaten by a bear. Then makes a pretty sign and calls it a day. Full disclosure, I usually nap through half his vids. I love it.
