I am a Seventh day Adventist Christian from Los Angeles, I thoroughly enjoy your worship service, What a blessing it is to collectively worship from a distance in the larger community of believers. Thank you for having this service time accessible via KZbin. When I can travel again to NYC I hope to spend time with your community.

I am so very happy to have found this church. Saw the Today show. This church is refreshing, diverse, and very similar to my home church First Presbyterian Church in Decatur, IL.

Ditto! I caught the clip as well and then shared it via text with several friends. We all need such messages of hope, faith, and love this season. May we all learn to keep our heart valves open - Blessings from Tulsa OK

Genevieve! I too saw the interview and immediately and googled the church. Even tho I, now digitally, attend a church I find very meaningful for me, I love how comforting the message from the pastor was. How grateful I am that we can now "attend" other churches, etc.for words of comfort especially during this most challenging time in all our lives!

In this season it would be nice if you did more Christmas carols. "This Christmas"...seriously?

@@GoodShepherdNewYork Why would I tune in to your digital church service expecting to hear songs of the church or Christmas carols for a service on Dec. 13? I mean, what was I thinking?! Thanks for O Come, O Come Emmanuel. It was a lovely version. But is your response supposed to be cute or funny? Because we don't have enough snarky Christians? I've been watching your digital service for several weeks now, finding it a nice alternative to the conservative evangelical services I was raised in. I left that mainly because of the attitude and behavior of the people. Apparently your people (or at least the ones responding on your account) aren't much better. Unsubscribing.

In the church, it is still Advent--Christmas is still coming. I know it can feel disorienting and out of step with the rest of the culture...but there is a gift if you can give yourself over to it in taking 4 week to prepare for Christ's coming. And then we have Christmas--which is more than one day--but 12 glorious day...and then Epiphany.

Hey there. In liturgical churches, the Christian calendar is followed. 4 Sundays before Christmas the season of Advent (Advent of Christmas) begins. Christmas is for 12 days from 12/25 - Epiphany 1/6. Christmas carols are usually most sung during worship during this time from Christmas eve - Epiphany.

@@hirzboy So liturgical church sings pop Christmas songs instead? No Christmas carols but American Top 40 / pop Christmas? Sure!
