Oh that more of us who truly are Biblically "born again" "believeth" followers of "our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" will take this Biblically sound message by Bro. Pete to heart - for prayer is written about and COMMANDED so many times in "the word of the Lord" - Just a very-very few are --- That which the Prophet Samuel said in 1 Samuel 12:23-24 [AV] : *Moreover as for me,* *God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you:* *but I will teach you the good and the right way:* *Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart:* *for consider how great things he hath done for you.* --- And that which the Apostle Paul *COMMANDED* 'Biblical CHRISTians' to do as part of 'Putting on the Whole Armour of God' in Ephesians 6:10-20 [AV] : [17] *And take the helmet of salvation,* *and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:* [18] *Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,* *and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;* --- And that which the Apostle Paul also *COMMANDED* 'Biblical CHRISTians' to do in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 [AV] : *I exhort therefore, that, first of all,* *supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;* *For kings, and for all that are in authority;* *that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.* *For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;* *Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.* .
