He explained this recently. He doesn't have a definitive reason outside of this: He was born in 1960 so the pre-1960 coins are older than him.

All that weather coming, you may want to use that cash back from Santa to get some hot chocolate. 🤣🤣 I'm a tropical creature, so you won't be seeing me up there anytime soon! It's even supposed to get down to 31 here Mon night; first freeze of the season if it does. You won't believe it: I picked up a nickel box the other day, and today got around to opening it since I finished the penny box I had, and it was a new box. I really couldn't believe it myself... but here's the thing, it's a 23-D box LOL. You didn't have too shabby a hunt this go around! Glad to see you doing the journal brother 💚. Don't know if you're an Excel/spreadsheet type of feller, but I can make you something to use on the computer w/ formulas if'n you like.

I have a couple of generators. A 7,000w and a 10,000w. It seems like they both hold 7 gallons of fuel. They both run about 10 hours depending on the load. I have mine set up to back feed power into breaker box. One easily powers water pump, refrigerator, a few lights, and gas furnace. I feel it’s lot safer than trying to power space heaters, and extension cords. Either way, please be careful using generators. Lots of risk involved. Great video as always!! Keep on picking!!
@TwoshedsGabby16 күн бұрын
@@quarter-py4nr thank you.... I would be happy to just own the generator, and never have to use it. You sound like you have a good set up... I hope to get my large one set up better when we get a little better weather. We have an unused 220 outlet in the master bedroom from an old wind unit, that I hope to convert to an outlet for the generator... But I think with the things we have at hand, we will do fine if our power goes out. Along with the 2 buddy heaters, I also have a small propane stove that can be used for making hot meals. With all that in place, I can move on to another box of coins. Cheers

Yeah, a pretty great box! The storm hit my area Saturday afternoon & evening. I work 3rd shift, so I had to drive in the terrible weather 35 to 40 minute commute. Fortunately, it was mostly sleet, so vehicles had some traction. Parts of the major hwy were shut down, but it was almost entirely due to semis that couldn't handle the condition or that couldn't make the grades because of the low speeds necessitated. Fortunately, I was able to get off the hwy and take some back roads and city streets to get to work. I started out two hours & fifteen minutes before I had to be at work, and I made it there just 20 minutes early. Definitely slowed me down. I'm sure there will be snow coming in afterwards, so we'll see how that goes, but I've been driving in bad whether conditions for work for 20+ years. Since you don't have to worry about that, I assume you and your wife are either retired or semi-retired? I still have 8 years left, and then I'll be able to retire. I might need to have a part-time job to help pay for health insurance until I turn 65, but I'm looking forward to being able to just hold up in the house and not worry about driving in these kinds of terrible conditions. My mom is 80 years old, and she still makes me call or text her when I make it to work. 🤣😂 Enjoyed the hunt! Congrats on the 2 Silvers especially. Take care!

When I was younger I loved driving in the snow. I think you could even say I was pretty good at it. But I don't won't to have to anymore. First off, I don't carry full coverage, so bumping up my car isn't fun at all. And I am semi retired now. I sell equipment for a few companies. I keep the stuff in one of my sheds, and just ship it out when it sells. I have to go pick up a new load from time to time. My wife has been a homemaker since we married.. I never made a fortune, so we learned a long time ago how to live inexpensively. We do ok these days, life is good. God is good Maybe XRP will just go crazy, and I'll make a nice chunk of money. LoL Glad you made it to work and home safely. Ugh, I'd hate to have to do that. When I moved back to Kentucky I took a job as a currier and had to deliver payrolls to many of the Lexington horse farms. Simply beautiful country, but then I found that they don't plow those roads in winter. After 1 winter, I quit before the next one. LoL (when I moved I had stopped selling for the companies, but was able to start back again) Well I better get some sleep. Good night

Well I’ll start with this - ice cream coffee creamer perhaps? As a northern Minnesota power outage survivor (common event unfortunately) what size (wattage) generator did you get? Most electric heaters require 1500 watts to operate and if you plan on running more than one appliance be sure to go bigger for breathing room ( + 25% minimum wattage output) . Next…. A buddy heater is an excellent choice for heat in a power outage as it is indoor safe . I use them regularly throughout the winter. Pick yourself up an external tank hose for it !!!! For a 20lb or bigger tank ( fits most of them) the money you will save using that over the small 1 pound tanks will pay for several boxes of coins 😉 guaranteed. Stay warm and safe 👍
@TwoshedsGabby16 күн бұрын
Thank you... I do have the hose to fit the larger tank. And I have a large tank, I just grabbed a few small can for convenience. I just woke up ( hope to go back to sleep) the radar looks like it's about to hit right now. It's a 2800, I think it can handle the heater and a TV, if the power is out a few days, we'll unplug the heater for a while and plug the fridge in top keep things good in there, since I have the 2 buddies to help keep the house warm. And I thought the ice cream in my coffee for creamer was a great idea, I'm definitely going to try that .
