I mean it makes sense... there’s 2 option. Substats are random. 2 substats take into account last rolls. (Including fodder ones). In both cases you’re more likely to roll into crit dmg or crit rate if all the rolls before have failed to do it

I tried once: - Crit Rate Circlet with ATK Flat, Crit DMG%, ATK% - Upgrade from 0 to +4 got me DEF Flat (no Crit Rate% or EM used) - Prepared 4 Plume with 2 substat, upgrade till +8 with any artifact. Make sure the Plume substats doesn't have Crit Rate% or EM (I got 1 Crit Rate, and re-used it on another plume) - Use the 4 Plume +8, got me from +4 to +15. So I use another +0 Plume with no Crit Rate% or EM Results: Sample #1 - Crit Rate Circlet - ATK 18 -> no change - Crit DMG% 7.8% -> 19.4% (2x up), +16 to +20 with random artifacts -> 25.9% (total 3x up) - ATK% from 4.1% -> 8.7% (1x up) - (open) DEF Flat (1x open) Edit: My GF (I used her acc for science lol), upgraded this to +20 with random artifact. She got Crit DMG% 19.4% -> 25.9% This particular sample got 3x Crit DMG% upgrade and 1x ATK% upgrade, pretty lucky. Need more sample. ​@Lacroix Gaming I watched his other videos and decide to test several parts of the method. I only tried the +8 4* Plume, avoiding CR & EM. So I didn't any domain, let alone wait 24 hours. Also Plumes only, no Circlet. His Part 2 (mix CDMG & CR) or the Crit Rate version, mentioned (in comment?) Elemental Bonus DMG Goblet or Crit Circlet with specific substats. Some didn't need +8 4* Artifact, only specific substat fodder used from +3 to +4, from +7 to +8, etc (of course he's still doing research on this). Haven't make listed step by step for his other videos. And currently have no resource to experiment more :(

Might need rewatch several times & read his replies in comments, since he admitted himself he's not that good at explaining 😂 Good luck! I'm currently on Physical Keq with Black Sword & 4BC. The overall substat is good, mostly 2-3 upgrades mixed around CRate/CDMG/ATK%. Need to find better ones to try this method. CR 66.2% & CD 151.6%

@Lacroix Gaming I feel that.. my friend said MiHoYo could smell fear (and give use shitty RNG) 🤣 I've constantly changing my Keqing artifact for the past 1 months, until it got pretty stable and lucky with the subatats. Searching Keqing mains Docs, calculating the output with Spreadsheet if I equip new artifacts to see wether it's worth it, etc. I survived since she's my main DPS, also Clear Pool domain gives noblesse which good for support/burst DPS. Win-win for me who build Physical Keq with 4 Bloodstained 😁

Basically the formula is: -choosing a 5 star piece with desired sub stats -find the same piece of 4 stars artifact with good su stats -bring 4 of them to 8 -wait 24 hours -use the 4 4 star artifact to level up the 5 star -i got it right?

I tried it the first time and it worked! But I’m still gonna test it more. I leveled up a 4 star artifact with 2 substats to +8, got ER and DEF % for the next two substats, used it to level up my 5 star artifact and then got crit damage from 20% to 28%! It was already +18 at the time.

@@muhammadilhamrobani7042 actually been doing this before this video was released. Just not sharing it since devs might notice. I originally got it from my previous mmorpg experiences when enhancing weapons, i normally enhance sub items, then after they the failing stops i enhance the main one. It always gives me higher chances of the weapon not breaking. As per genshin, this also works, it also works in getting your 4th substat, or at times where you repeatedly get defense. As a programmer, i can say that there is a chance that genshin does not just randomize things but also uses thresholds of substat rolls. I can confirm cause i have multiple artifacts like this, and this method is what i have been using ever since. Unlike this person though, i am more selfish or i don't need any views, that why i just shared it to my friend, and asked him not to share what i discovered that time. I still can't prove the threshold theory though, but i can say that getting defense on your fodder artifact greatly lessens the chance of you getting defense on your next roll with your main artifact

Maybe it is just a coincidence, or maybe it's a higher chance of getting good substats if you use a lvled up artifact. One time I used a 5* lvl20 to upgrade a better 5* and everything went to crit dmg.

Same i use +20 5* witch to up lvl 1 noblesse and it went to lvl 18 with 4 crit boost and i lvled it up again and boost crit again so it became a perfect art

I swear, it is work on me. But, because I do forgot how the step goes, i make a lil bit different steps, so here's mine : 1. Every time you got a new good artifact, calm ur self and upgrade it on the next day. 2. Pick a whatever 5* plume and make it lvl 4 (make sure there is Crit Rate/energy recharge sub stats in it), and make it more as you need to level up till lvl 20 3. Moment of truth 4. Again, i don't guarantee it will work like 100%, but I got 31% CRIT DMG with this way in only 1 artifact (wanderer)

hi. for the first one, you dont really have to do domain,it just to farm artifacts for the second one, i'm not really sure either because in my case i always wait for 24hr, but someone try and didnt wait for whole day still got his crit dmg upgraded. so i think you dont have to wait a whole day

Theres a chance that you'll get a pure def upgrade though So what happens here is the artifacts only upgrade 1 stat at a ime for each upgrade and so resulting into godlike upgrades But becareful though as I said youdont want your Main dps getting pure def or def percent getting a godlike roll

If you get a 5 star artifact u should use artifacts with flat def or def% as fodder. The chances of getting a def roll becomes extremely low. It works for me

@@muhammadisyraqraihan5583 yeah it's ok with random mainstat except def% and EM. and dont go with EM or atk% for the 2 subs at the beginning. its not 100% work but worth to try. but i was working on something new and maybe this one had better chance at upgrading crit dmg or crt rate

gila2 pertama w meragukan, pas nyoba sendiri naik dpt crit rate 12.8, bukan crit damage sih, tapi 12.8 crit rt kalo do konversi ke crit dmg itungannya 25.6, itu juga baru lv 16. Mantep broo 👍

Eh bang, caranya worth it wkwk. Gk kepikiran sih bs trik kek gini soalny menurut gw ya kan algoritma nambahin substats it random. Karena sub stats kek kata abang abaikan elemen mastery sm crit rate al hasil sub stats nya fokus ke sana dan bkn crit dmg. Jdi untuk upgrade selanjutny dijamin crit dmg di sub stats yg ingin kita up. Mksh bang gw berhasil dan gk pakai tidur nunggu bsk tpi cuman relog doang dan berhasil kek di video lu bang wkwk

ane udh nyoba dari 3 artifak sub stat op hasilnya cuma miss 2x 😂 dari 3 artifak itu sblm liat video ini kondisinya 2 artifak msh lv 8 dan 1 nya lv 7 hasilnya 1x naik def flat 1x naik er sisanya crate sama cdmg doang yg naik 🤣
