@mrp9507 a true story??? and wish that we would do better???? Yall do know that 31% of Black people have a college degree. 44% own their own home. While only 14.1% are in poverty. The public housing holds 48% of black ppl. BUT ONLY BECAUSE majority of the head of households are disabled or handicapped and of course they have to count the children that are living with them. I said all of this to say that according to the statistics, we are doing great. Don't let these shows fool you. Remember "he who creates the narrative have the control". So they keep putting this idiocracy out there for ppl to associate as normal with the black community. Which is a damn lie! There are a select few that's out there doing stupid crap but of course they'll rather focus on that than the good in creating our narrative.

Why should he be? It's not his people he's throwing under the bus for comedy. I'm more curious about the Norman Lear credit and what Carl Jones about stepping away from the project: Norman Lear (deceased) has always been progressive and empathetic to minorities. Carl Jones said he left over creative differences. Did those differences happen before or after Lear died?

I think they thought they were clever like the Chapelle show or the PJ'S by exaggerating like they do in parody/satire but this is done soooo wrong. The jokes fall flat and the message doesn't get across so it's just cringe. This reminds me of Velma all over again.

The fact that they make a reboot of this that relates nothing to the og show and blasphemy Jesus is just sad. These people should repent (I doubt they can from blasphemy) and rework this if they can. Also keep Seth McFarland away from black tv and Steph curry away from making tv shows. I REBUKE THIS. Also we don’t know what Jesus skin color was. It’s not too late to repent because He’s coming back soon!!!

I don't know y'all. I think it's a bait-and-switch to get people talking. The show might be a banger. The foolishness might be a setup to hold a mirror up to the black part of our community that needs to be addressed. I'm 50/50 on this show for now. I gave my reaction to this show, too; that gives a little more.

Totally agree that’s what’s probably happening, only thing I have a problem either really is that it’s called good times. I do think there is a layer that we only got a peak of, and that this show will discuss deeper topics, and I love everyone’s opinions but I respectfully would like to tell you refrain from promoting yourself in my comments 🙏💯 with that being said, I do recommend your channel to people that like to see well crafted reaction videos!!😂😂your videos are amazing, and totally deserved wayy more respect and recognition that I see coming your way in the near future!!

I don't know why folks are surprised; many of us act like this day in and day out. The older generation has been saying all along to act right and do right, but no one heeds it. I guess we can all tune in and enjoy the show. Unfortunately, this is how the world will see us until we change that.
