I'm just so happy that Dreamworks is back to their highs shown last year. The Bad Guys was another great take on a classic book while being its own great standout and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish brought us back to not just Dreamwork's talent at making excellent sequels but also getting us back into the Shrek universe. I've just missed this studio and their talent so much.

Man, I read the book when I was younger, and the movie captures but slightly changes a lot of the characters, especially Diane, who was just called fox in the books, and didn't associate with the government at all. 8.5/10, I would definitely recommend this to others, especially much younger people.

The Bad Guys is the best DreamWorks movie I’ve seen in years since How To Train Your Dragon 3. But the movie’s ending, and that of 007 No Time To Die are the only two possible conclusions for the final chapter of Lupin the Third. He either serves a short prison sentence and lives a life of legitimacy, or he dies to save the world while admitting he truly loves Fujiko and Zenigata concede to each other as equals.

But either outcome will have to be done on the creator Monkey Punch's original terms, that Lupin and Zenigata either both lose, both win (preferably to the audience), or get too old to do their schtick, but they concede to each other as equals.
