You should defiantly take the Felkers Falls trails and see those falls as well. Part of the Bruce Trail network and also has a very feature filled trail on the interior once passing the falls about a half km. Look for the entrance once you pass.

The outer loops that take you towards Ancaster and boonies towards powerline road and Brantford. They have some nice open horse path rooty and Rockey descents, not to meantion a lot of, off main trail connectors that have some nice MTB er built features to them and some challenging little downhills. One is down a razer sharp ridge with full exposure on both your sides. That's on the black loop. Forget what it's called on trailforks. Easily a full day of riding and discovery off all the little nuggets. The systems loops and spider legs all over the place covering Dundas, Ancaster/boarder of Brant county. All they way to The royal botanical gardens at Burlington/ Hamilton Boarder on the North side of coots paradise bay. A truly vast network of crosscountry delight with some real technical single track peppered throughout. The waterfalls connecter at Tiffany falls is just a mere 5 min bike rider to the system. It's all connected really.

Hey if you're ever back in Hamilton, you should check out the trails in the Dundas Conservation. It's a shame you didn't get to go on this trip. I grew up there. They are fast and flowy trails as opposed to technical ones, but they are pretty and scenic. The jumps got removed by city workers years ago unfortunately but its still a beautiful ride any day of the spring, summer, and fall.

Awesome video. Hamilton trails are ok. Mainly for hiking... but there are a few steep sketchy descents in Kings Forest that are great for improving skills. Also, good training for climbs. 👍

Agreed. The trails were good but nothing to write home about. The trails and the sightseeing completed the package. The thing is - Hamilton could be amazing. In time, I think we will see some really good stuff pop up there.

Nice to see what Ontario's has to offert. I rode one time in Ontario (my friend live in Newcastle) in the Ganaraska Forest. Not a big deal... Do you have some trails who looks like Sentiers du Moulin or Vallée-Bras-du-Nord? Thank you😉
@GoodTrails5 жыл бұрын
Not much like Sentiers Du Moulin. The best bang for your buck in Ontario is Collingwood for a couple of days and then Toronto for a day. Collingwood has a the 3 Stage Network which is sort of similar to some of the riding in Vermont (I have a 3 stage video from 2 or 3 weeks ago). For you second day in Collingwood, you can ride the Blue Mountain Bike Park. And you can have a solid day on some techy trails in Toronto and then go a Jays game or do something fun in the city.

Newbie MTB here. Just wondering when you were easing off on your front brakes on slick sections? This ride looks awesome. How long was it?
@GoodTrails5 жыл бұрын
Basically, if I'm going across a slick rock or root and my front my locks up from braking - my front end will wash out and I'll crash hard... I'm not sure how long this ride was because I was stopping to film. But if you're looking for a good ride in the Hamilton area, check out Dundas Valley. I think those trails have better signage.
