Anyways, everything is a thought; we're made of atoms-which contain an infinite number of smaller particles starting with the electrons which has leptons etc..., that come from the void of space, your sight precrpetion isn't coming from your eyes but from your organic brain, your ego is a thought of the total sum of learned condtioning- which also comes from your physical brain and everything changes constantly. He's actually done a surprising number of comedic roles. Not necessarily full-on comedy movies but certainly roles that required decent comedic timing and a general talent for comedy: Dogma (and his cameos in other Kevin Smith movies), the Ocean's Trilogy, The Informant, Stuck On You, his cameo in Eurotrip, 30 Rock, his "feud" with Jimmy Kimmel, his sketches on SNL, and those are just the ones off the top of my head. I don't think he was ever going to be confident enough in his comedic talent to make it as a comedian doing a lot of full-on comedy movies (his first truly comedic role was in Dogma and Kevin Smith mentioned on the commentary that it took a while for him to settle into it) but all in all I'd say he's done just as many comedic roles as serious ones.

Sue Derry no he doesn't try to open up to anyone at all, actually quite the opposite. There's a lot of truth to these scenarios. I've known some psychiatrists and therapists who were completely nuts. One, a famous Boston MD shrink, treated my aunt. He was bananas. While talking to my aunt, who was in bed after a car crash, he spied the hot dog lunch on her tray on the side table, and while talking to her, absent-mindedly picked up the dog, squeezed it completely out of the bun, and set it back on the plate, and then left. She couldn't believe it. Then there was an ex friend of mine who was counseling adult victims of childhood sexual abuse. Turned out she liked little pre-pubescent girls, and was using her clients' abuse stories to masturbate at home. Then there was the MD shrink who treated my brother. When my bro had a breakdown and told the shrink he wanted to kill himself, the shrink told him he just needed to work more hours bagging groceries at his job. I had to take him myself to the ER for admittance. The admitting nurse shook her head when I told her what the MD said. Then there's the retired MD shrink here in my hood who has never talked to anybody and never, ever miles. He's an amoeba. It looks like some form of autism. And these guys are all let loose on an innocent, vulnerable population. Give me a Sean McGuire anytime - if you can find one.
