I recently went back to my boyhood home. There were around 10 Mom and Pop stores scattered throughout town. You could get your meats/veggies/candies/household products etc. (they are all closed), the buildings are still there, but the hustle/bustle, kids playing, laughing, town gossip(lol), all gone~an era that will never be. Love these old places, comforting

At bagdad B&N Food market right now.. got the ribs,potato salad,white beans with corn bread.. Sat out side at the pavilion (very nice) food was very fantastic.. I love the corn bread because it was little sweet. Cant wait to come back!!

I’d love to see you guys try the hamburger wagon in historic downtown Miamisburg Ohio. They fry their burgers in a cast-iron pan full of grease. They only come with salt pepper pickle onion. Best little burgers ever !!

That griddle is not promising. Everyone knows to be good, a burger has to be cooked on a grill. Also, those patties looked frozen which also doesn’t taste good. Hope they taste better than they seem.

We just found B&N a couple of months ago. Yes, it’s some of the best food anywhere! If you’re ever there when they have pinto beans, you have to try them. They’re like nothing I’ve ever had before…Tex-Mex flavored. And Buckshot makes great homemade pies, too.

That brisket looks awesome! There used to be a place in bardstown called Down Home bbq that had some really good brisket. I got the brisket everytime and they made like cornbread pancakes. I would get a pound of brisket and make sandwiches on the cornbread

Funny story, my Ma's cousin owned a place like K & N, but much smaller, if you order a pound each of ham, turkey, p & b loaf you bought 3 pounds of baloney, a pound each of swiss, colby jack cheese you bought 2 pounds of American cheese, lol, cause that is all they had at their deli, lol, they did have great home cooked meals like meat loaf, fried chix, country ham with sides & all made from scratch at dirt cheap prices, God Bless you & yours, btw feeling a little better & less pain today so I thought I'd re-post

Yes, I’ve had rumors but when i was reviewing them it was not pleasant. I had to scrap the video. They used dirty frying oil and all the food smelled really bad, and that is putting it nicely. I was with eight people and not one person got beyond the first bite.
