実は、わたくし中学生から高校生まで、将来は警察官志望だったんですよ。
大学には行くつもりでしたが、高校時代は勉強サボってしまって、浪人確定となった丁度その頃、神戸のローカルテレビ局の映画番組のエンディングテーマである曲が流れて来ました。メロを演奏している楽器が管楽器というのは分かったんですけど、そんなことよりメロが強烈に心に入ってきて、急に涙がこぼれてきました。後日、どうしても曲名が知りたくてテレビ局に直接電話したんです。そしたら、アーティスト名と曲名を教えてくれました
デイヴィッド・サンボーン　という人の　グッド・バイ　という曲ですよ　と。
そんなこんなで音楽の道を志すきっかけとなった曲なんですよね。

Actually, from junior high school to high school, I wanted to be a police officer in the future.
I had planned to go to university, but I skipped my studies in high school and didn't make it in time for the university entrance exam... At that time, I heard a song that was the ending theme of a movie program on a local TV station in Kobe. I knew that the instrument playing the melody was a wind instrument, but it didn't matter, the melody was so strong in my heart that I suddenly burst into tears. Later, I really wanted to know the name of the song, so I called the TV station directly. They told me the name of the artist and the name of the song.
It's called "Goodbye" by David Sanborn.
That's how I got started on my music career.

Thanks for watching! I have been playing this song for almost 30 years and I know it by heart, I think there was a songbook sold with this song in it about 30 years ago, but I can't find it anymore.

サンボーンのは、CD７枚持ってるほど好きなので、こんなに完璧に再現できるなんて感動です。藤野美由紀さんとのコラボなどの話はないのでしょうか？あれば最高ですが！

思い入れが強い曲でしたので、極力忠実に再現しました、ありがとうございます。30年前から幾度となく練習している曲なのもありますし。20代前半の頃はソロのフラジオ部分などは壊滅的でした^^;　機会があれば藤野さんともご一緒したいですねえ。
