I loved Aswan. I visited Dec 2020 and stayed at Eco-Nubia, a new eco-friendly lodge on Bigeh island. The lodge served authentic nubian food that was sooo delicious. I also enjoyed the Nubian villages. Would definitely visit again.

Love Aswan, that is where you see the indigenous Egyptians. Black people! They don’t look like the “Egyptians” in Cairo because the ones in Cairo are transplants not the indigenous, just like Black people are not indigenous to the US
