It's not necessarily the best, but I feel like it did so much more with sound than a lot of games (especially these days) does. It felt authentic, like you were actually there.

@adsadam1 to this day I'm yet to find another shooter that can top BC1 & 2s sound design the closest I've heard is rising storm 2 Vietnam it's sound design especially explosions rivals BC2

I think it was their last game where all sounds were made by design only. BF3 was their first title (correct me if I'm wrong) were they recorded diverse gun/bomb sounds to make it more realistic.

My first Battlefield game and my fav Battlefield game! The game is simply magnificent! One of the things that impresses me til today about this game are the sounds, they gave so much immersion in battles (soldiers screaming/communicating with each other, tanks sounds, helicopter sounds, etc.). It is so well made. We can see how back in the day, devs cared about making games, nowadays they just want money selling colored/magic skins. =/

You know what's even crazier the original bad company had the same level of polish when it came to it's sound design and it came out in 2008 in fact many of the sounds you hear in BC2 are ripped out of BC1 I know this I often crawl through the FBRB game files of both games and have played both extensively

Side note: I know 1943 isn’t a DLC, but it came free with a lot of Bad Company 2 additions. Loads of fun I had in that game, wish they remastered it and sold it for like $10 like they did back in the day.

The game that transformed my gaming Went totally gaga and played so much i lost my girlfriend and upset my parents. They really shouldnt have worried. It has only repeated itself once since then and that was when BF1 came out. That sound is just incredible. Still gives me goosebumps. RIP BFBC2, im going to miss you. You will always have a place in my heart 😢😢😢

was just on everyone was huddled around dropping medkits and ammo boxes in my squad in the final minutes and seconds. i looked my squad in the eye as the black screen hit us. was quite spectacular m24ing with the other team on the lake map one last time climbing up the snow mountain getting bombarded with mortars. finally stealing my nemesis dogtags on the lighthouse map. was truly an epic final hour in gaming. was raging and crying and laughing all within those last few hours i had to play. one of my absolute favorite games of all time top 20 easy. rip badco2

My first battlefield. Bought it from a flea market for 3$ for ps3 around 2014 (bf4 had already been out). As a COD player it blew my mind and got me to play the most the battlefield games and i personally like them all, including Hardline and except BF5

A good review....I loved this Bad Company 2 game from the very beginning, I bought it as soon as it came out... A military shooter with a realistic combat system and even with humor ..... This is an ingenious multiplayer ... As soon as EA was lowered in my eyes - and EA close the servers ... I also played on the last day until the very closing (and recorded it, there is on my channel))

It's not hard at all to install the file that allows you to play on inofficial servers. I thought it was going to be hard but it turns out i was wrong, it took less than 10 minutes.
