So is the Hoover off to the tip now? I do remember when my auntie and uncle had the exact same Hoover Washer for 8 years then it was forever breaking down. So it ended up being replaced in the end. I’m so pleased you managed to get an old candy. My Mum’s best friend did have a very similar one to this one as you may know. And that one only managed 8 years as well. I do have some more old videos of it working which I have not found yet but will do soon. Wait till you see what we did to it when it got to the end of its life.

There's an empty shed at my dad's so i'll stick in there for now while I decide what to do with it. It's served me (since Dec 2020) and my dad (since Sept 2021) very well. And to think it was already 17 years old by that point! (Though the previous owner was an older woman who didn't use it much as she lived on her own). My old candy also lasted for about 7-8 years before everything started to go wrong with it. I guess some machines are luckier than others - this candy aqua being the perfect example lol. Tbh I'm not to sad about losing the hoover as this candy can do basically all the same things plus more. It was a cool machine though.

@@WashLover I don’t have any pictures of it unfortunately just videos. But when I find the final videos I did of it when it was broken. I don’t know what you will think. First I will post the old videos of it Working first As soon as I find them. I do have an old Hotpoint 9534 in my shed. Are you on Instagram?

May well be. Could also be the CA232, which has a Fast Wash button instead of an Intensive one. There's also a 1600 model (SE264). Not sure how many others there are, good machines though, it served me well.

@@WashLover all I remember about it was it broke down every 2 weeks which made it get replaced but it might have been one of the models you listed it was a hoover with that door and timer

Yeah probably, surprised it broke down constantly but I guess some machines are luckier than others lol

@@WashLover probably due to the way my gran washes everything on quick wash surprised the wme isn’t dead yet
