This really brought back memories for me! We moved out of our rented house and into our own home in 1989 and I’ve never regretted the decision. Now the house is paid off and we are old and retired. Congratulations to Taylor and Jeff! In 30 years when your home is paid off, I will be 92 and if I’m still alive, I will still be watching your channel!

I’m moving right now, thanks for the tips on the vacuum bags, I saw you all used the old school boxes. I rented plastic boxes, they are good for the environment, sturdy and you don’t have to get rid of them at the end. Moving is such a pain, hope it all went well!

I’m so happy for you guys! The city is fun when you’re starting out in life, but it gets old pretty quickly! Renting a nice apartment is one thing, but owning a HOME is on a completely different level. To be able to open the front door and be outside is priceless! To have a yard that is private and belongs to you, that you don’t have to share with obnoxious people, with the homeless, the mentally ill, and the stench or urine that permeates everything: that’s absolutely wonderful! I’m sure your friends are calling you “philistines” and sell-outs, but let them eat cake! Overpriced cake that is! You’ve transformed that house of yours into a real home, and I’m sure you’ll be wonderfully happy there! Your quality of life will improve drastically!
