How is placement for Instrumentation and Control branch? Do we have to try for IT companies learning coding or are there core companies coming during placement with good package around 10-12 LPA ..

@@rishirajtiwari3929 weather is crazy hot, no ACs in hostels, but I hear they are upgrading classrooms to be fit with ACs later in the year or maybe next year. Some classes have ACs already. Most department labs have ACs.

Bhaiya I am very confused about taking nit Trichy metalurgy and better branch like mech in tier 2 NITS what should I do?????? I have great interest in Coding completed c language before going to college and will start placement prep from first year. Also what should I do???????

Even if you have great interest in coding in C, being in departments like metallurgy or mechanical significantly reduces your opportunities to come across software companies since these are non-circuital, you would have to find companies off campus then. I’d say just go with a department that you want to study rather than choosing some department for the sake of the college. This way you make your resume more meaningful because companies do ask what relevance your degree is towards whatever posting you are applying for.
