My little brother was a huge Jojo fan. I used to avoid it since it was made fun of, and I’d harass him any time he brought it up. Eventually I gave in and began watching it and I loved it. He was so happy. We talked about it all the time. He showed me this song after I finished part 3 and I cried reading the lyrics. Only a couple years later he committed suicide. I’m so happy that I started watching and could share something so special with him. To this day my siblings and I recognize Jojo as something that we will forever carry in his memory. This song breaks my heart. In many ways he was a hero to me. He was stronger than any fictional character because his struggle was real. I may miss him forever, but at least I’ll never forget him.
