Nope I only knew about it scrapping about 1 hour before, luckily it rained quite heavily so they have to stop work, at least the chassis is still there.

when the bus preserver in Hong Kong which preserved SBS9844Z stated that he won't consider preserving SBS9889U people didn't really care when it's already soda can material people are real sad unfortunately people don't really have the capital. FYI: if you have to blame why this happened then blame SBS because technically the bus is theirs and not LTA's

This is kinda expensive to keep a retired bus The new owner of SBS9844Z in Hong Kong, he spent a lot to keep the bus still well in running condition and looking flash and clean, his target is want 9844Z looking like brand new... Fun Fact: Some people joking him drive back to Singapore, but he refused and said "This is equal to scrapping it by myself 😹"
