My heart is breaking into pieces. I’m a 60 year old man and this is affecting me so deeply. Love is a very distant idea for me right now in my life but Bobby know that though I’ve never been a part of yours and the boys lives personally this has reached deep inside my emotional well and touched something in my heart that is bringing me to sobering tears and heartache. Bobby has loved his dogs for almost 10 years, with them almost at all times, When they were apart, like for real like Pacific Ocean crossings, they dogs stayed at my house. They missed Bobby so much you could feel it in the air. It took a week or more to get them to stop watching out the window. When he returned home Maverick and Goose literally cried with joy for an hour and would not leave his side. This is indeed real life.No actors here.

Bobby, so very sorry to hear. You were a wonderful “dad” to Maverick. We lost our Maddie on Feb 15 to cancer so I feel your anguish. However, you gave Maverick, and Goose, a wonderful life and allowed him to be the best dog, companion and friend he could be. You have a great legacy with all the video of him and created a wonderful memorial of him. Thank you for allowing all of us to share your journey and the memories of him. God bless!

Man Bobby, you f&$?ed me up! I just got over the same pain when I lost one of my three Great Danes 6 months ago. I now feel like it was yesterday. As a die hard dog lover, I can't express my sorrow for your loss. I watched a lot just to see the boys and their travels. It won't be the same without the dynamic duo. You gave him such an awesome life. He has traveled to so many places and seen and played in some of the most beautiful places ever. He sails on now. You gave him more love then anyone else could. As a dog owner myself I know exactly how you feel. I've had dogs all my life and it's never easy. But we do it for the love we have for our 4 legged friends. We can't bare to watch them suffer. Until this video I didn't know where you came up with the name of your channel. I have always had labs. Never even thought of a labradoodle. They are beautiful dogs though. And yours are/were truly wonderful beings... This video ripped the tears from my eyes.

My condolences for your loss. Losing a dog is losing a member of the family. I’ve had to put down several dogs and it never gets easier. We’ve got three dogs and they are like our kids along with my 10 year old son. The best we can do for our dogs is to ensure a happy, healthy life; and when the time comes, don’t allow them to suffer because we can’t say goodbye. It’s a tough decision, believe you me, to put down one of our “kids”, so don’t let them suffer. Dogs bring us happiness, companionship, love, and many, many memories. We owe them a dignified death without suffering. Again, our deepest sympathy and condolence. Cheers,

I cried seeing this video and I can't remember what part cause I was so emotionally overwhelmed. I feel your loss. It brought up a lot of difficult emotions for me of losses over the last three years. Coincidentally, I have watched Maverick frolic over that time for 2.5-3 years of your videos and he will be missed. The energy he brought was such a rock in those times. We understand how you are feeling. My wife and I lost out Pomeranium "BANDIT" in May of 2019 that we had for 13 years. It was very tough on both of us as he was with us every day, all day. We waited till Aug and got our new best friend Gaberial ( a Sheltie ). We will pray for you and it will get better with time. I’m a mess... after having to leave my best friend, a short haired collie named Fell, behind when immigrating from the UK in the 70’ due to rabies quarantines, my English setter,, also Fell, was lost to a vehicle accident, and my last, Gypsy, an adopted mix breed, to similar circumstances as maverick... my heart goes out to you and your family and all who Maverick brought joy to. Bobby, Truly sorry for you and Goose’s loss. You did everything right and good for Maverick throughout his life. His life was filled with adventure, fun, and love. The headstone and memorial video are beautiful. Leaving Goose with his grandparents is another tough but good thing to do. You are a lucky Man to have had such wonderful companions.
