I understand that was all a lot to take in. Let me clarify. Yacht Arience does not have the cabin capacity for crew to have someone on board as a full time creator. The boat needs 16 full time crew and there is only space for 16 full time crew. I am leaving Arience and will no longer live onboard the vessel and will be replaced. However, I will return for content worthy events. Crossing the Atlantic / new toys being delivered / prep for guest trips / new cruising grounds etc. The vessel wants to maintain its social media presence and I am the one that will help them do that. That being said. Over the last year, deck work has been my main position. That is now changing. I will be going on board a HUGE range of yachts around the world to create similar style content as what I did on Arience but now with the focus of creating content and showing you a lot more than what I had the time for on Arience. Trying to do deck work and content work took its toll. Out of passion, I would prefer to grow this channel rather than only focusing on deck work. Whilst you may be a bit sad now, this will only benefit you more as I show you a far greater insight into a HUGE range of yachts. 1 - 2 videos a month for me was not good enough, id like to make Arience style videos 3 times a week for you and remaining onboard Arience, along with my back was not going to allow that to happen. That is why I am no longer onboard. With that in mind, perhaps watch the video again. Thanks for caring.

Good move, shipmate :-) 'we' (your subscribers) have been missing your content so it is great that not only will you be producing more, but also that you are going to give us an insight into other yachts as well. You have found your calling as a content creator for the yachting industry. Your deckhand role was always only going to be a 'stepping-stone' because you have a genuine talent when it comes to content creation. Those of us who have been following your channel for a long time, know and understand why you have followed your dreams. Fairwinds :-)

Hi Jared are you using a Tens unit? The reason I'm asking is because I've been using one or 2 different types of Tens Units to help with my spine and lower back from an accident that nearly paralyzed me. If so get well soon I do enjoy your video content and hope to see more of your videos. Get well soon Jared can't wait to see what is coming next in the near future.✌😎🤙

Jared; Well done!! You are a class act through and through! You have something that many others who try to do this lack- Honesty and believability on camera. You never talk down to or about anybody and that comes across in your videos. I would imagine that you treat the lowest ranking person with the same respect as the Captain! While this may be tough right now, everything happens for a reason. You are meant to do something even bigger. thanks for sharing with us!

I'm 35 yrs old and have had issue with my back since I was 25. It first stared out with a bulged disc at L4 with pinched nerve which then turned into a bulge/herniated disc and pinced nerves at L4/L5/S1. This is a typical occurrence due to the fact your discs below injury are trying to pick up slack. I've had multiple surgeries including spinal fusions, laminectomy, discsecetomy and bone grafts during the past 10 years with my most recent one seeming to have finally "fingers crossed" at least fix my sciatica. My best tip I could give is to stretch every single day and due non stress workouts to help build your core to support your back better. Life with back pain will definitely slow you down and make you adjust your life style but there's nothing you can't do as long as you stay positive and work towards your goal of getting as close as possible back to normalcy. Hope you get relief and feel better, best of luck in your future endeavors!

I have the same issue L5-S1 disc. From lifting and twisting at the same time. I was in agony for 12 months. I have had 3 epidurals which have been fantastic although I have had to be so so careful for the last 15 years. I can no longer do what I used to do. I spent a month on my belly pushing up to stretch my back and push the disc back in. I could have had an operation but was warned not to as it cannot be undone. Exercise will sort it. Be careful Jared lifting. Time will heal

Really feel for you Jared. I had a blown disc (L4/L5) which ultimately required surgery. My best advice to you is to lay off the running for. while. The pounding on the spine is very hard. What helped me was a little yoga, some specific back stretches and rest. To get your cardio I suggest brisk walk on a treadmill. The machines usually provide some shock built in absorption . Most importantly don't get discouraged. It takes some time but fortunately you're young and have the ability to bounce back. Best of luck.
