Been following Zai since he was winning his first tournaments back in the HoN days. I sincerely hope that the time off does him good, and that he considers coming back later on. I would love to see him claim the aegis at least once before its all said and done. He will always be one of the greatest in my book. Best of luck to him! :)

For me, Zai has been always nice to see how he plays. From 4-3pos. In Liquid era he really carried most of the games in my opinion. He had such huge role to fill after TI11. So no wonder if he feels that he has to make a brake. Im sure after the TI shuffle, he is one of the most wanted players to get in team. But, since he said he is having a "brake", we don't know how long. I still hope to see him play soon! Wish the best rest of the liquid squad as well! Been huge fan of Nisha since joining Secret!

It's not fair to say that Zai carries Liquid most games. Boxi, nisha and even insania contributions are massive. Even micke shines here and there. For me, if we are Ranking Liquid players run contributions it would be: 1. Boxi 2. Zai/Nisha 3. Insania 4. Micke

The Secret roster with Puppey, Nisha, Matum, Zai & Yapzor would win an aegis if there was a TI in 2020. They were top 3 in 2021, eliminated by Team Spirit (broken & crazy Magnus by Collapse). Zai is a great player, he always playing sacrificed offlane role to make pos 1, 2 shine. It is crazy how he manage to get into top 3 of TI for 4th time (2 with EG, 1 with Secret & 1 with Liquid) just show how consistency he is for the last 10 years

They would definetly be main favorites by far, but remember - it's TI, so you can never be 100% sure. I've watched professional scene since 2013. And there have been a lot of examples when the main favorite team loses. Secret themselves in 2015, OG in 2016, VP in 2018, LGD in 2021...

Dota community is actually quite racist. It cheers for white players even though they're not the best. It cheers for topson as if he was going to do something this ti. It cheers for other midlanders way more than paparazzi who beat everyone at mid 1v1. And frequent to express racist comments. So no... The generation is only changing with Chinese teams and war torn country teams in the ti. If you only speak english it will be much harder to connect with Chinese\Russian players since there is so much less content of theirs you can connect with and appreciate. The same as how Chinese cheer for Chinese players, that doesn't make them racist, that makes them human with emotional connection. People definitely give props and celebrate great players/teams regardless of region but when it comes to favorites it will likely be from the underlying emotional connection just like it is with friends. Does it make Chinese people racist when they don't cheer for OG at TI when they played vs LGD? No, it means they have favorites which are people they connect with more closely. Lumping together what you consider "white privileged people" as people not worthy of cheering for is only contributing to the problem with the community being racist lol. Is it really surprising people would cheer for someone like Topson after how he came into the scene and the whole OG story? It's basically every players dream to have a situation like that happen to themselves.
