Smaller lighter and thinner, I love how tech evolves, even though sometimes it may be slow, when put alongside the bigger picture I get pumped to see where we'll be in a decade or two

I actually went through your other Onyx line reviews, and I actually decided on the Onyx Nova 3 Color. I think it's the optimal size form factor for one handed reading, and note taking. In australia, it's only $50 more than the plain Nova 3. Extra money for color comics was a good choice I made thanks to your reviews :). Also commenting here because its the instructions for the competition 😅

Hey mate. What about the darker background due to the color display? Does it not bother you? That's the only reason I didn't get the Nova3 Color

I never really read books before but got into reading since the pandemic started. Being on the go for work all the time makes it difficult to carry paper books everywhere but with an eReader it wouldn't be a problem.

You should go through the pdf editor function, it will be pretty fun cuz that should the major reason why someone want to purchase this tablet.. but the way, the review is really good with some discovered functions.. sound like able to inspire someone to discover more functional ways for more comfortable daily uses. I just ordered the Remarkable 2, but what I can see, it's not very good compared to some Onyx devices at PDF reading - Just think 500$ is too much for my wallet. Looks really nice without a doubt but closing in $400 with shipping is too much. $300 seems more fair to me otherwise I would rather skip the stylus Wacom and get the same-ish ecarta 300dpi water proof Nook Glowlight Plus for $200 or $150 refurbished from Barnes and Noble. You get an extra 10% off if you’re a member. Tons of XDA hacks too for those inclined to side load apps.

how do you feel about split mode. I am considering between nova and note air . I use it to study, read pdf and do exsercise on it.

@@phandinhthang6918 I've got a Nova 3 too, I think it's a bit small for using it in split mode. So I use highlights + google handwriting + ocr for inline notes and shortcuts to switch to the notes. Other than this, I love the device!

@@phandinhthang6918 Am going to be honest, I don't use split mode at all. I use my Nova 3 mostly for reading and taking some notes. It is a very capable device and fast. So it will depend on your use case scenarios. At times I use it to view video using it's screen share/mirroring to a large screen smart TV. So with this said, either a Nova or Air will do the job regardless and depending how deep your pockets $$$ it's what you should consider buying. I will keep my Nova 3 and perhaps next year will buy a color E-ink device from Boox. Good luck on your venture into one of these and hope it works out for you as so far it does for me which am very satisfied.

Chức năng reflow chỉ sử dụng được cho sách chữ và dễ bị nhảy cột. Chức năng chia màn hình làm 2 hay 4 giúp bạn đọc sách chuyên ngành được nhưng không thoải mái. Ghi note trên trang 7.8” cũng mau hết trang, phải kéo trang mới. Slipt view sẽ rất nhỏ. Nói chung là theo nhu cầu của bạn thì nên mua 10.3” hơn. Mình đã mua nova 3 và sau đó đã đổi sang note air tháng 6 này.

Looks nice and new stylus is cool indeed, but re-inventin physical page turn buttons and holding pen only magnetically? How will you put this in your bag/backpack? Imho best case/stylus holder design still goes to Supernote 8 inch series. Simple, protective, durable and reliable.

Onyx has so many good products, the Lumi 13 is a gem. Albeit on the expensive side. I really like the Nova air too. Personally I like the black colour but this silver slaps.

It is much prettier and I really like the stylus. The case is really cool too. But I wonder if the magnetic for the stylus is only on the right hand side? I'm a left hander. Also I hope the stylus can be hidden inside the case for nice, sleek and minimalist look.
