I can watch this film every day, 7 days a week and never get sick of it. One of my most favorite movies of ALL time. Ray Liotta’s passing has been the hardest to deal with of all the celebs so far.. in my opinion. He is a legend and will never be forgotten. “I’m an average nobody.. get to live the rest of my life like a schnook.”

One of the best mob movies ever. Liotta was a perfect Henry Hill. He would drive to the movie set listening to FBI tapes of Hill so he could be as true to the part as possible. Just an excellent movie, made back when they knew how to make a genuinely good movie.

David Freeman I put it this way. If you want to watch a mob film for a hell of a good time, watch GoodFellas or Casino but if you’re in the mood for something a lot darker and raw, then go for Godfather or Godfather II.

"Yes, the song Layla is fire too, I'm in love with Rock. As a black man from the hood, a high rise apartments complex,I grew up watching mob movies like Godfather, Goodfellas and Scarface religiously. Never got into the classical black and white mob movies,but Imm go back and ware them out. Never been a fan of the violence and killing, such vile negativity, but just they style,the acting and the bad buttery take no mess off nobody attitude. I romanticized and glamorized these movies at the age of 12 heavily on up through my early 20s until I became a redeemed Christian, now I only watch the trailer,the interviews,the documentaries,behind the scenes and listen to the soundtracks religiously and ritually. In our religion we can't watch or associate ourselves with anything heavily evil, but we can PRAISE AND CELEBRATE the HUMANS and their gifts. WE LOVE THE PEOPLE,but hate the sin and stay far,far,far away from the sin. So yeah, I always hated what these movies were about, but I always admired and del deeply in love with the characters and actors who portrayed them. Robert De Niro,Marlon Brando,James Can,Joe Pesci,Ray Lotta,Paul Sorvino, Lorraine Bracco are some of my favorite actors of all time. And as a actor and director,script writer I'll be making a bunch of black movies just like these, they will be short, 1 hr. And 10 minutes or 2 hours and 10 minutes, but they will all change the world. I guarantee this, it will be unlike anything this world has ever seen. I love ❤❤❤❤ you all, and Father GOD bless and help ya!!"
