I'm new to golf. Started this year. For a long time, I felt like it was so inaccessible because I was still learning how to swing, didn't know the etiquette and mostly just felt like I'd be in the way or piss someone off if I didn't know what I was doing. I've been watching so many Good Good videos this year and I'm blown away by how fun and welcoming you all make the game look and feel. Been playing all year and now I'm properly obsessed. This whole trip seemed way more unserious than usual even by Good Good standards. Garrett and Brad not really trying all that hard and not really having good chemistry in their play or in their small talk in the cart. Kwon likes to have fun but also likes to play serious golf and have his shots mean something. He probably felt like a babysitter this trip while everyone else was being lound and hitting unserious golf shots. Could be over anazlyzing a small set of videos, but Kwon may have just outgrown Good Good.

You should do a challenge where you do a scramble but whoever ball you pick, they don’t hit the next shot. So like if you take Garrett’s shot, he doesn’t hit the second. Then if Brad hits it in the green, he doesn’t hit the putt but Garrett can. 3v3 or 4v4 is best

Except it’s been the last 6-8 videos he’s been half assing his shot attempts like he doesn’t care. He played perfectly fine, just seems like he’s over GG at this point. Just a few videos ago there was a hole when the team Luke was on needed a good shot from him and he just decides to “try a stinger fade” for shits and giggles ignoring them asking him to hit a good one. Not sure behind the scenes but there could be compensation issues, good good labs channel being done by Brad instead of Luke, or a number of other things. I don’t see him lasting much longer.

This is an inflection point for GoodGood and I'm sure they all know it. The competitions are fun but you don't win anything. The silly stuff that made them famous is few and far between. The cast of characters is like Menudo and the OG's are often outplayed by the newcomers. The editing & videography is upper tier and they have a huge following but how long will that last without more updating? Other channels are stepping up including their personal channels and there is only so much time to watch YT golf. I wish them the best and hope they come up with ways to grow even more as a group. Curious in 2 years what GG and other channels look like in the YT landscape.
