Goodguys Sat Part 2, 6 10 2017

Saturday was perfect. The cars in the specialty area (as well as the rest of the fairgrounds) were unbelievable. They even had a truck that was a Great 8 finalist for the 2017 Riddler Award. The quality was amazing.

@@37spiker I am aware of that, Bill. Your HERCULEAN efforts (and expense) to film these amazing car events---especially in hot/humid weather---is GREATLY "appreciated" by this old Boomer. I find my right arm experiencing 'sympathy pain' for YOUR camera hand & arm, while watching these hour+ long presentations (LOL) ! FYI: The engine bays are more interesting (to me) than the interiors; please spend a few extra seconds there, when you spot 'something special.' Thanks !!

Just pure poetry Bill. Thank you so much for the time you take for our edification. I believe in part 1 you spent some time on a brown Ford Pickup. Man that was a work of art. As you pointed out, the subtleties and trick work on that was amazing. I don't recall who put on some big shows once a year, 30+ years ago up in New Jersey, my bad. But they would rent out an entire high rise Hotel for a long weekend around northern jersey and rent a local High School gym for a sock hop on Saturday night, Poodle skirts and all, if the school wasn't to far away. Auctioned of cars, had exhaust rap off contests, live old do-wopp bands from the 50's & 60's every day. We would save up for our vacation and a little extra to make to the Hot Rod show for at least one day. Certainly old school by todays standards, still reengineered marvels. My wife and I sure do miss those type of Hot Rod Shows. Recon there a tad to costly to put on now a day. If anyone asks, I will disavow any knowledge of a place called New Jersey. ;) Great weekend to you and your.
