Very nice find, the Netherlands album. Good price too. The first 1945 stamp is to celebrate the liberation. The stamps you thought were the postage due stamps are not postage dues. They are just postage stamps. I think we call them the Cruwel series over here after who created them. Mint stamps from 1945-2002 are cheap over here. After 2002 it gets way more expensive because of the euro. Those stamps are still valid. Before 2002 it was Gulden. Netherlands before 1945 is generally collected in used condition as mint is too expensive. If you plan on collecting mint. I can fill some gaps. Generally mint stamps are between 0,03-0,10 euro cent per stamps over here for the period 1945-2002. I love the Austria stamps too, they make really nice stamps. Ireland is also nice to collect, that feels well doable as they only ‘started’ at 1922? Nice video Jerry, thanks!

Hi Chris, they were issued in 1922 as this is when the new irish government assumed power before that they were part of the United Kingdom and Ireland. As far as Netherlands stamps go, they are lovely mint, and I'll try as much as possible to get mint, but I'm not too fussy if they end up being used, Thank you for the information you have provided, most useful. The Austrian stamps are nice but I must resist.

Thx for sharing Jerry. I'm from Holland and it is nice to see that also abroad people are interested in them. It think it is a nice catch. Most minted staps are not that valuable, but there were a lot of stamps in the album. And the 40' and beginning 50 are interesting stamps. Regards Camiel

Very nice video, Jerry. Thanks. For me, with our three dealers at a fair, seventy dealers make for a massive fair! And to also have high value stamps like the penny blacks for sale at a fair. Nice, even though one cannot afford them. You are very lucky to have such a fair at hand! For interest I quickly looked up: you paid about NZ$2.00 for the SG 1 Ireland stamps, and the first one I found on e-Bay was listed for a bit more than US$12.00 plus postage. I also think you got the Nederland album, including mint stamps, for a good price! So all in all you made great purchases.

Thanks Charnie. There was certainly a lot to look through and some great stamps there, unfortunately some were just to expensive but beautiful stamps. Some great deals to be had though, it was a great day out.
