If you are reading this comment, producers of this song(by some miracle) I am extremely grateful. Im 14 yrs old and I am struggling with keeping up with school and my motivation is almost non-existent. Until today, I was really deep down in the dumps as I knew what I was doing would kill my future but didn't care. I heard your song in a montage and decided to look for the original source and it brought me here. I am really thankful that I found this. I don't know how to describe it but ever since discovering your song it's like someone took my hand and pulled me out of the dark. Sounds really stupid and immature but it really does feel that way. I took the time to read all of them and I really do appreciate all those heart warming comments. Although I haven’t stopped listening to good kid, it’s been a while since I’ve visited this particular comment section and to think that the comment I made back when I was 14 would actually end up helping me out once again. I’m 16 now and it’s not like life has gotten any easier but to say the least, it isn’t as bad as back then. Coming back to this comment made my day and even now, I’m just so surprised by all the support that I’ve gotten. Yeah, it’s only a couple of comments and likes but these little things made me remember exactly how I felt when I first listened to this song and that’s all it took for me to get out of bed and start being productive. I won’t bore you with explaining my current circumstances but now that I am slightly more mature, I will say this. Always be the first to lend a helping hand. Always be the first in doing anything. You have to take that initiative if you want to accomplish or achieve anything in life because time waits for no one. Telling yourself that you’re going to change eventually is only going to lead you to ruin. Is that you want? Your life to end up in the deepest parts of the hole you dug for yourself because you couldn’t take the initiative to change yourself for the better? As long as you’re still breathing, change is never impossible. If you put your mind and heart to making a change, it’ll work wonders. That’s all I wanted to say and before I sign off, I also want to mention how overjoyed I have been to see the good kid growing in terms of popularity and their songs. There’s 3 albums now! Can you believe it??? I couldn’t and it makes me smile with great joy that more people will get to listen to these amazing songs. Please keep doing what you’re doing and continue releasing all these bangers 🔥
