I bought a 2,000 sq. ft. Cape Cod modular. Modular frames are built with more wood to withstand transportation. Then I had some master tradesmen finish it. I love it. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

I'm a "car enthusiast" never going to own anything better than my 2017 camry. I'm ok with that. Being a delivery person. These homes make no sense. Look up the Quail Hollow development in Westlake, Ohio. Absolutely the largest collection of pretentious McMansions I know of, with absolutely no attempt at any kind of cohesion among the homes stylistically and architecturally, and also on the smallest lots possible. These things are like 20-30 feet apart. Hilarious.

I think your show can use some changes, you guys should try to do some interviews with people. I would like to see a Q&A with some of your friends possibly. Also If your looking at something on the computer, you should show what your talking about instead of your selves in on the screen. I would also like to suggest changing the whole look of the studio, maybe lighter colors in the back ground, its too dark. Maybe April can sexy it up a little, her fashion sense could use some help. Tyler, I believe your definitely the star here you just have great stage presence, you could be really great in a TV Show or a movie. Not sure the chemistry is there between you two for the channel quite yet. Most of the time Tyler seems annoyed with April and tippy towing as not to upset April, her comments just don't do anything for me. That said I think you make a good couple and I hope it works out. Hoovie = McMansion's Doug was right but hey, own it which you are and bask in the recovering McMansion glow. Nelly is a "Jordan on mouth of the south steriods" McMansion. Jordan can take a nice loss on this as a write off. To be honest, the Brick front is enforced by the neighborhood covenants that say 80% of the front must be natural stone or brick. I agree with April...the theatre room is cheesy but fun. Keep on posting...we need to get your channel in front or more people.

I'm not in full agreement with this take. Not everything listed was a McMansion. Some were simply mansions. McMansions might be going out of style in certain areas but not others. They styling has changed to be more conservative, but are still being built and enjoyed. I don't get the trend of building monster homes only a handful of feet from your neighbors, which is a trend I see a lot. If I'm spending 7 figures on a home, I want at least a big of space.

This is weird, but mcmansions to me were always the big houses that were built cheap and looked cheap and there was an entire neighborhood of thr same design. Some of the houses you showed were just mansions. Mcmansions were usually bought by broke people stretching their budget limite to look rich, while actual mansions were bought and furnished by people who were really wealthy...like jordan

I don't like mcmansions, but in high end homes, they never ever sell for what the home owner thinks. Even hoovies farm will never sell for what he may think. They are all customized to their owners taste and lifestyle. You have to find that exact buyer to get max money, otherwise every person buying a home of that type will gut it and redo it to their taste. Just as hoovie did to his farm. The house being a mcmansion is not what makes it worth a lower figure than a homeowner thinks it is worth is all I am saying. Unless you have very generic taste lol
