I think it's really a testament to your general maturity and character when you're able to maintain a friendship for so long. Relationships take work, even friendships. There isn't a single person on the planet who won't sometimes annoy you or make you mad. Nobodies perfect. And with friends it is so easy to let little things get in the way and just slowly drift apart. You two have a lot of man-love for each other! It really is well made and you can tell they worked really hard on the content of the book. Like they said, it's really cool to have a GMM episode right in your hands but it's more than that bc you get a greater sense of their history together and things they've learned along the way.

I really miss how GMM used to be back in the first couple seasons. Just stories about Link yelling at people at beaches, trespassing at a pig farm and getting swept down stream trying to swim across a river after camping. I feel like this book is returning to the roots of the show and adding on to all those stories we fell in love with years ago. =) This book is going to be amazing.

I agree! If you don't already, make sure to listen to Ear Biscuits! The episodes where it's just the two of them usually involve personal stories, both new and old, and even episodes where they interview someone, they'll usually take 5-10 minutes at the beginning before the interview to talk about what's new in their lives.

A close friend's father was an author. Among other things, he wrote a memoir. Sadly, he passed away before her first birthday. Now, while I hope you two live forever, I can tell you that thanks to his memoir, my friend knows her father far better than anyone else I know. When I first found GMM years ago, it was the food videos that made me love it and then I watched all their old videos season 1 and 2 which had lots of their life stories and friendship and adventures etc. those stories literally are the stuff that makes you guys, you. I love your lives and so relatable for me coming from a little village and doing weird things like exploring sewers, and now living in the modern world and a big town. GMM will always for me be the stories that make the episodes incredible and when you mention the past. I don't even know where I am going with this but just thank you for making my day a little better when other things aren't. Now off to watch ten feet tall cuz Mike and Alex are my life.TLTR sorry not sorry.

I can't wait to start digging into my copy. (Amazon Prime - arrived today!) This is so much more comprehensive than I had imagined, and I'm definitely sitting down and reading it cover to cover starting tomorrow. I'm a KZbin/Facebook fan. I've seen almost every video on every Mythical KZbin channel... I became a fan toward the end of season 8 and have watched every video since, and in the meantime I went back to the very beginning and watched everything and have almost closed the loop... Just have a hundred videos or so in the middle of season 8 that I haven't seen yet. I comment sometimes and participate when you guys ask questions on Facebook. I sent to the Key Ring of Mythicality! I recently got the audio book and listened to it on a long car ride with my teen sons. I had already read the book (I own 2 copies, 1 is signed), but they didn't realize how much they would enjoy it until they started hearing it! I took my youngest son to see the tour of Mythicality and he actually read the book, but my older boys didn't think they were interested! Silly Boys, They were loving it!!
