Living in England, I have the opposite problem with the thermostat as we try to keep the house warm. My thermostat is set for 18C (64F) during the day and 15C (59F) at night. The kids are always complaining that they are too cold. But we have lots of snuggly blankets scattered everywhere

Solidarity! I live in Michigan in the states and in the winter we keep it at 15C at night and generally 18C during the day. Put on a warm sweater, a knit hat, drink some ginger tea, and always have slippers on, and yes be under a blanket if you’re sitting still-or, go outside then come back in and it feels downright toasty!!! Whether or not you’ve always done this I’m sure in Europe now it’s extra pragmatic now with energy costs like they are. Plus in England am I mistaken or is it generally not super dry air in the winter? That helps things not feel as chilly indoors.

When you start cutting it into fractions it gets tricky and I won't get into that, but I suppose technically Rhett has two-thirds of Link's amount of kids. Perhaps it just feels weird thinking about people as fractions.

Man, whenever people talk about setting the thermostat, I realize my family is weird. We set it to 80 in the summer when the house has to be cooled down. In the winter, when it needs to be heated up, we set it to 72 during the day, and 74-76 at night, depending how cold it is outside.

Temperature for the thermostat is such an essential this for people with MS. 72 literally causes my body to stop working, legs not work and I physically feel sick because my body cannot regulate body temperature. This is such a touchy subject
