"What would the other tell me is the right way to go?" go the opposite way no matter what they say, because the answer is going to be the wrong answer either way. The liar will tell you the truth teller would lie (and give the wrong answer), and the truth teller would tell you the liar would lie (and give the wrong answer). I learned this trick from watching the Labyrinth as a kid, lol.

Another way to answer the final riddle is : "Is the liar in front of the road that will get me lost?" It's basically the logical deduction riddle where two guards stand in front of two doors but with twins and roads. The logic is if you asked the honest sister she will either answer yes, because the liar sister is in front of it or no because the honest sister is in front of it. If the liar is asked, the logic is inverted. If the liar is standing at the path that will get you lost she will lie and say 'no' if the liar is standing in front of the good path she will lie and say 'yes'. Either way it doesn't matter who you ask, if you get a 'no' you go to the other road, if you get a yes you follow that road. This problem is often used to help explain logical deduction.

I feel you completely disregarded the whole point of the riddle. You don't know which sister is lying and which is telling the truth. Let's assume the liar is on the left and the "truther" is on the right. Let's also assume we already know which path to take (we'll use the right side). You ask your question. Sister Truth (right) tells you "yes", because the wrong path is on the left. Sister Lie (left) tells you "no" because she is on the wrong path. Now you're left with a 50/50 disagreement. They're always going to disagree with each other if you ask a yes/no question.

Yes, but keep the good road the same and switch the girls, they would give the same answers relative to the road. So the liar would say yes, the liar is standing on the road that would get me lost, and since she would be lying, that is still the path you would take.

Go to girl A (for example) and ask "Is the liar in front of the wrong path?". She responds with yes or no. Take the case of yes and split into 2 possibilities 1) girl A is truther 2) girl A is liar. Case 1) girl A is truther that means that path B is the wrong path b/c that's where the liar is. Case 2 ) girl A is liar then path B is the wrong path anyway, b/c the liar told you that the liar is in front of the wrong path so that means that the liar is in front of the correct path. Since the liar is in front of path A that means that path B is the wrong path. If girl A answers no instead of yes then it's the opposite and you know that path A is the wrong path.

That wouldn't work, If the one on the good path tells the truth, and the one on the bad path lies (Truthfully)- I would take my path (Lying)- I would take my path The one that lies wouldn't want to actually take their own path and get hurt, but they have to lie, so they say they would take their path. How would you know which one to believe?

Waiting for them to solve the first riddle was so incredibly frustrating. We don't use the word much in the US, but we still know its a freakin' word and all you had to do was say the alphabet to remind yourself of it. I want my 3 minutes back! 🙃

Lol, I know me and my friends love riddles too much because I've heard every single one of these before. How I explain the twin sisters riddle is, "What path will your other sister say is the dangerous path?" Whatever the answer, you'll take the opposite of what they're point to. Or vice versa, you can say "What path will your other sister say is the safe path?" and you can take the one they're both pointing to.
