We are united in the Lord, our Shepard, and now are of the same herd...We are joined by the Holy Spirit's Presence in each of us. What a glorious family!! I was police officer, at my 9 years of service. I hit a low point in my life, was divorced from the mother of my children in a terrible relationship with a woman that really didn't care for me I was pending termination. I had backslidden so far down, I'd almost given up hope. Without letting my family know, how far I had fallen, I went to service with my mother one sunday. The pastor preached an awesome service, I had decided I was going up during the alter call. before I could leave my seat the pastor, in front of the entire church (about 100 people), told me that he had received a word, and God wanted me to know that I was going to be alright, that I was going to finish my career. it's been over 26 years since I got that word, I completed my 34 years as a Police Officer, Detective and Supervisor of the Detective unit. The Pastor never knew what was going on in my life at the time, and I know words he spoke to me, came from God. Im not perfect, and still need daily work, but I know without a doubt and Jesus in my lord and savior, and that he can change your life. I hope someone that needs this will read my testimony

If only we would step out in obedience and pay attention to Him speaking. I was married to a police officer for 14 years. When I was dying from covid19 in the hospital ICU, this was one of the songs that kept me going. After last rites and saying goodbye to my family, I attempted to sing this, but only managed whispers. Having survived intubate ventilation, double covid19 pneumonia, covid19 triggered afib and 200 volt shocks, this now brings tears to my eyes. Don't know why I survived when so many others didn't. I suppose only God knows that. "I will sing of the goodness of God."

My mom gets up every day at 3 am to talk to Jesus. I know that's it her prayers that have kept me going. My grandma taught my mom to talk to Jesus. A few weeks ago my grandma was diagnosed with cancer, last night my grandma was talking to Jesus and He told her He had healed her. All the pain is gone. This song really brings tears to my eyes and made me ask the same question" What is love, if it's not guaranteed? What is love if she's not here with me?' Now I realize that love and life are just beautiful vacations that need to be enjoyed as they're never guaranteed to last forever. I won't forget the last thing she said to me before losing consciousness " Don't allow yourself to be distracted from living your life. I know so many beloved of the Lord who read Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints, and upon reading this verse leaving feeling defeated immediately. How can God expect so much? I am reminded one day as my daughter came down the stairs and set her phone on the counter she walked away and was preparing her breakfast, I began joking with her and she said, "Dad! be quiet, her boyfriend was sleeping still." I said what do you mean? She said he had not gotten up yet. I laughed but she was serious they never hung up and were face-timing. They never hung up. I said, Wow! you're just in constant communication? I thought what a novel idea to never hang up on God and just leave the line open to Him. What a sweet thought.
