The one thing I learned from my 6 months of being homeless was that God never let me go w/o eating or having a place to shower or the help of the library for internet access and reading in the AC when it was 100 degrees in South Texas. GOD provides and he does it through people like Mike. We are all vessels of HIS love for all beings.

Hi, I give out bags of dog food for those that are homeless and have dogs. It’s not healthy for a dog to eat human food, so when I see a homeless person with a dog(s) or cat I ask if they would like food and flea medicine (I get the inexpensive flea meds at the dollar store when they have it, otherwise Walmart) . I started it when I had a picky fur baby and had bags of dog food that I didn’t know what to do with and asking my neighbors if they wanted it, it was a neighbor that said there was a homeless man with two dogs who could probably use it. I never found that man but found another and he was so genuine and thankful because he said he feeds his dogs first before he eats. Drove all the way home crying.
@goodnessinpeople3 жыл бұрын
They will always tell me also that they feed the dog before they eat. But yes, unfortunately, sometimes they give them people food. Thanks for watching

We live in some of the richest countries in the world (you USA, me UK) and yet for a penny in a pound in tax would hardly be noticed by many people - truly being civilised is about making sure everyone has a reasonable standard of life. But the people you are helping don't have the possibility of voting, so governments ignore them and leave them to the kindness of people like Michael. If you can help others in any way like Michael does, the mental benefits, especially during this time of pandemic, far outweighs the benefit you'll get from an extra few pounds/dollars in your pocket. Keep up the good work Michael

Richard Hunter in USA these individuals do have the right and opportunity to vote. Maybe you don’t understand our system. These type of constituents get more money per person into the hands of the greedy politicians, than a fully employed housed, tax payer. Our system is fake, our money is fake, our leaders are fake. Where I live they let non citizens vote, and have driver license. To get housing usually it is for single mothers. I’m pretty sure they have soup kitchen and shelters in Tucson, but those places have rules about drugs and stuff.

Hey Michael, Do you generally buy your own supplies to give out or also collect some from donors/organizations? I also noticed that sometimes you give canned goods, packaged goods like cookies and crackers. Anyways a good amount of the time CVS has these items for sale. Typically if the cans go for 3/$3.33, crackers/cookies 1/$1 (long rectangle box), you can and should pair it with CVS CarePass membership. And save a lot of money while getting a good amount of supplies. With CarePass you’re basically getting 9 cans of soup for $5 or 10 boxes of crackers for $5. You basically pay $5 a month or $48 for a year of CarePass and each month you get $10 of in store credits to spend. I have a few accounts by using mine and my parents phone number. Each membership is linked to a separate phone number. Also most CVS has a dollar section which is perfect since you can get all sort of goodies (10) for the price of $5 (monthly) or $4 (yearly). Thank you for doing what you’re doing!

I buy all my Food and Hygiene at the Dollar Tree and 99cent only store. Socks, Beanies, Gloves and Blankets, I buy in bulk though eBay. I purchase my own supplies, with my GoFundMe campaigns helping with the cause. I don't have a set amount, but I usually give the Guys about $10-15 and the Women $20-25, as I give them more Hygiene items. If I see someone staring at something in my vehicle that I wasn't planning on giving, I just let them have it. Also, I don't upload every encounter, as the camera causes issues with some people, along with inappropriate behavior from both males and females. When I take someone shopping at the Dollar Tree, the Guys can fill up one hand basket, the Women can have two. I will be looking into the CVS CarePass, as I have not heard of it before tonight, Thank You ... Thanks for watching!
