My 4 year old has been struggling with sleep because, well, we spent the last year and a half homeless, moving from hotel to hotel. We finally bought a house and got it literally on Christmas Eve. But after so much time with instability she is still struggling. Last night she pulled an all nighter on me and just fell asleep at 11am when I coaxed her into laying down with me and watching this video. It was the perfect one, she loved the little clients and was soon all snoozled. I have used your videos, Erin, to get my 3 kids through our homelessness. It has helped to ease all of our hearts and minds and allow for some semblance of sleep in this difficult world and time. I recently commented on one of your videos about my sound sensitivity and how jarring the ads were and how I hadn't known they would be there. It seemed to upset you and you actually responded to me. It really hurt to have offended the one person who unknowingly got my family through the hardest time of our lives, especially over something so small. I was just trying to say I hadn't known and maybe needed a warning. It royally sucks that THAT was the comment my favorite KZbinr finally read from me and it leaves me nauseated still, thinking about it. I hate that that was my one and only interaction with you. I doubt you'll read this, let alone respond to it (you have so many fans and comments, who could possibly get to them all) but in case you do, I thought you should know how important you are to us fans. You impact our lives more deeply than you realize. I hope you're doing well.

I love this so much. Stuffed animals have always been a huge comfort for me, but I'm actually more attached to them now, at 22, than when I was as a kid. I found a stuffed dino puppet from 1978 at my local thrift store last year. I named him Jason and I bring him everywhere. I have chronic anxiety and depression and the simple act of holding him or having him in my bag while I'm out in public helps a lot. So to anyone reading: please don't ever feel like you HAVE to grow out of stuffed animals. It doesn't make you less of an adult to need a dinosaur to fall asleep.

I'm 31 and Mr. Nose - a lion based kids cuddle companion helps me sleep every night. He also makes my 87 year old grandma laugh all the time. No one is ever too old for a stuffie/plushie.

I personally have one of those palm sized sleep aid toys from Japan with a "beating heart" - I have a yellow bear one. It helps with anxiety/panic attacks and to regulate my heartbeat when baristas (hopefully just accidentally) give me regular coffee instead of decaf :') The little fella is small enough that I can carry them anywhere no matter what bag (i.e. even abroad) I have with me, which was a very important aspect for me.

I tried to film a video sort of like this when I was a kid... I had this rubber, 4-foot dinosaur, and I was making a video called, "How to Pamper Your Carnotaurus." Unfortunately, I was only a few minutes into the "scale massage" when my little brother (who was eight at the time) yelled, "CRAWWWWWFISH BOIL!!" from the other room, and I had to cut filming. To this day, I still don't know what was going through his mind at that moment. :)

If you go on soft speech there is little to do except to say again that you have a simply magical voice, I think the most soothing in the world of ASMR. The whole context is then very relaxing and the atmosphere very pleasant. Very very pleasant, it makes one forget for a while that it is raining and wind chill outside the house and then I have to go and freeze. I also add after this fork in the road a new life goal: I must also have a bumblebee plush by Christmas!

Same. Up with stomach issues from a migraine. In a really grinchy mood because it's kept me from sleeping for 2 days . I'd just climbed back in bed to the 2 things that help put me to sleep - my Build A Bear (that I've banned the rest of the family from touching) & my gigantic heating pad. I'm in my 40's, but not ashamed to admit I'm as obsessed w/stuffed animals now as when I was a child. They were a really big part of decorating at Christmas when I was growing up. So I instinctively think of that each year. I'm lucky enough a few of mine survived the decades & are now part of my Christmas decorations. But being sick since before Thanksgiving, they've had to remain in storage along with all the other decorations. I'd also been planning to freshen up my BB on my bed & change her into her Christmas dress. You read that right. Christmas is my birthday & I always got a holiday bear/doll when I was growing up. I decided to buy myself one for my birthday a couple years ago. I was still recovering from lung surgery that year, w/ my cat that stayed by my side 24/7 having passed shortly before. I was struggling pretty bad, but once that bear arrived ...such a huge difference. So I was thrilled seeing this video. Thank you!!!!
