Let's Admit, she is probably the only one who shows that character arc of galinda so prominently. The stupid, bubbly, innocent and plastic glinda of act 1 changes to a mature , tragic women.....that transition of her is beautifully depicted. ❤️

Both do. Love both of their interpretations. Absolutely as campy as possible but then they do a complete 180 in act two and beautifully depict Glinda facing the consequences of her actions (or inaction as it were).

Katie Rose Clarke is the best Glinda there is. I've seen recordings of almost every Wicked cast in history and she always was my favourite. When I learned she'd be Glinda on Broadway again for a few weeks I literally book a trip to NYC just to see her💀She was absolutely brilliant and so kind!!! She's a very touchy person in real life too and she hugged me at the stage door when I was crying cause I was so happy to see her :') ❤

Most shots of the finale are wide shots of the whole stage, but I’m glad someone caught that last shot of Glinda. The expression on her face before the lights go out is perfect and haunting. A perfect capture of every emotion Glinda is feeling at that exact moment

Yep and yep, she's one if not my fav Glinda and has been for a long time now. She brings so much emotion and depth and (Gay) lol to Glinda and one of the best portrays ever. She makes her a lot more thoughtful and yep, that Thank Goodness at her last show is a fucking killer every time! Thanks for posting this, she's the first one I saw (in a bootleg) when I was in High school. I think she does the best balance between funny and serious other than Chenoweth. In fact, I don't think I've seen a single Chenoweth follow up that I have like in the role besides her. She's melodramatic and high strung, but doesn't act like a total maniac.

Watching this literally made my day omg. I love how she adds so much nuance to the character. A lot of Galindas shake their hair after that bit with Fiyero, but she’s the only one I’ve seen act as though she strained a muscle afterwards😂. To the way I am absolutely taken by her “moral crossroads, trying-to-hold-it-together” Glinda throughout the 2nd act and especially through Thank Goodness. The way everything she does and has brought to the character makes sense is just *chef’s kiss 😘* p.s. the way i cried with laughter throughout this video 💀

I love her so much!!! I think one of my favorite tiny moments in this is in 4:23 - 4:24 when she mouths/ whispers "Yes" while Elphie responds with "Well, it's a little perky." It's such a Galinda moment. You know that even though she asked for permission, Galinda really wanted to use that cute nickname for her gf... I mean, for Elphaba. And I think it's such a great choice on KRC's part to visibly mouth the response Galinda is hoping for (and quite possibly what she was going to hear, no matter what Elphie said). KRC is an incredible performer and she was such an iconic Glinda. Anyway... Ship #Gelphie for clear skin.
