Striders need lava to stand in. If they’re out of it, they shiver from the cold. Heal it with potions of regen or instant health. I also just realised that the exit tunnel out of the mountain has to be magical… it’s kinda too small for the towers on the train, and the giraffes probably had to duck! 🚂✨🦒⬇️ I LOVE all of it sir Scar!

SCAR, if you get stuck with the quadracycle, have an aluminium tube with you (essentially a sturdy stick). You poke the stick in the ground either against a point in the frame or one of the rear wheels (depending on how you can maneuver the stick - which wouldn't hurt to have a small rope on one end in case you drop it). Then, you use leverage to push the quadracycle against the ground little by little using the brakes to not move forward when you reset the pole's position. It sounds difficult, but i've seen a number of people with disabilities that ride quadracycles (the type that you use your hands to move) use this trick and it's really effective. Of course, there should be some sort of padding either on the bicycle or on the stick. Oh and when you do it against the wheel, you put the stick against the tire and leverage it in the same fashion. Dunno how it applies to your quadracycle, but it may save your bacon. Have fun trailing!!!

Idea for what to do with the ore mountain: Because the zoo is supposed to have every mob, what about the ender dragon. I think the Ore Mountain would be perfect for that, from the ground you can see the ender dragon circling the peak of the beautiful mountain above the clouds. Whether you create an ender dragon out of blocks, or try and do what Doc did in season 9, I think it would look really good and make the zoo feel one bit more magical. It would also be cool to see what creative solutions Scar has for how the dragon is fed and where it sleeps. I personally think it's a really cool idea, and I hope Scar sees this. (P.S. love your videos. Always a pleasure to watch after a long day of school. You're ammazing keep making our days)

If your zoo is going to have all the mobs then you are eventually going to need silverfish. Ore mountain was constructed ores of a multitude of origins, perhaps some of them were hiding silverfish. And those silverfish have been slowly hollowing out ore mountain (not unlike the snails) and it eventually collapses leaving a pile of minerals and silverfish which can go in the zoo. You could use that as your justification for tearing down ore mountain.

I'm sure a ton of others have already pointed it out, but striders are actually much faster in lava. When they're out of lava, they shiver and go slower. The reason Frank seemed slower in lava was because the lava was flowing in the opposite direction from the direction you were trying to move him. In the case that you didn't see the other comments, I hope this helps!

Quick note Scar, make sure the Strider is fully covered by blocks overhead. IIRC they take damage from water and thus rain. Also, for Ore mountain, make it a 1x1 or 3x3 pillar and make the top of it into a radio tower? The small tower on the top of the mountain is never gonna be enough to reach all of Hermitcraft!

I'd say turn ore mountain into a roller coaster like big thunder mountain. My local zoo has a bunch of little rides and stuff throughout it, like a log flume through the aquarium, so it seems fitting to me.

Have you ever seen "Supermarket Sweep"? People earn a time limit to enter a supermarket and grab whatever they want and can fit in their shopping cart. You should do something like that with the Hermits. Offer Unbreaking III, Efficiency V pickaxes of various qualities (because what some of them might not remember is that gold tools are faster but weaker (so make sure to buy a LOT of gold from Mumbo, he'll enjoy it, for sure!)) and the Hermits can go in and grab as many ores as they can only with the pickaxes provided and within the time limit. If you want to include more parts of the original game show, whoever claims more ore or the most of a specific ore -- up to you -- they win and can keep their ore whereas everyone else has to return their share to you. This is just an idea; you can mess with it as you choose.
