Power scaliing is a fun hobby when you don't take it so seriously and you do it because you legitimately like the characters and you want to catalogue their feats, techniques, powers, etc. That's the real problem though, so many people take it too seriously and it just killed it for me. I was SUPER active in the scene for like a decade, plenty of my 'work' on scaling characters ended up all around the internet, even referenced in DEATH BATTLE once. I was legitimately having so much fun with it... until people kept getting angry over me "miscalculating" this or "misjudging" that. I got doxxed. I got harassed for saying don't call out writers and authors on social media for "not getting" the hobby. I got called so many horrible insults because sexism is super common in the scene and I got booted out of the more prominent forums for calling out how common racism and homophobia are among the power scaling "celebrities." Still. I love the hobby. It's fun and it gives me drive, as silly as that sounds. I've been considering doing some of it on my own time for fun since I've had years away from how awful the core scene can be.

It's all numbers...and that's why I can't stand power ranking videos. Like...there is zero thought put into technique and battle experience. Nappa was stronger than Krillin, but if Vegeta hadn't told Nappa to dodge, Krillin's Destructo Disk would have decapitated him. Same with Krillin vs Freeza and cutting his tail off.

Even with those things considered, what people fail to consider even after that is that the authors of these characters no doubt 150% always fudge their feats to fit the narrative pacing they want to achieve. It doesn't matter who has done what or who can do what. If the author says "nah today he passes out because of hypertension" then that's it.

Chakra is stated to be life force that everyone has. Ki is also life force energy that everyone has. They're the same thing. Just because Naruto gets super specific about chakra flow and circulatory systems and shit while DBZ just says "haha ki go brr" doesn't mean they're incompatible with each other when they can both do the same stuff (elemental manipulation, clones, energy projection, etc).

Chakra is life energy and we do know of a character in DBZ that uses his life energy to power up his Ki blasts. Tien, when using tribeam, is using his lifeforce. It is mentioned several times that if he does it too much he will die. When he is stalling Cell he almost does die. That basically confirms that Ki and Chakra are different but that the characters of DBZ do have both. Genjutsu should be able to work on him. I doubt it would matter though.

I'm pretty sure in naruto Hagoromo the Sage of six paths had to actively give Chakra to all of the people in the world of naruto that became hereditary after he bestowed it on them so Chakra isn't naturally available to them they only got it because Kaguya had a kid that gave it to others. They didn't learn how to use it they had to be given it first.

Ino has the best defense against an opponent like him. She doesn't have to even fight, she just jumps into him, expels all his energy, and hops back into her own body. Now he's helpless against any of the real threats. There are definitely easier ways, but that seems like one of the only capture techniques i can think of, other than reaper death sealing him, which probably wouldn't work anyway.

Actually, Chakra lines only exist inside of creatures inside of the Naruto universe because of the connection to the Otsutsuki and the whole ninja jesus nonsense. So no, Yamcha literally would not have chakra because he is not from their world thus does not have Otsutsuki connections at all. TLDR; Yamcha clears.

That isn't true at all, though. It's established BY the Otsutsuki stuff that everything everywhere naturally has chakra (in fact that's kind of a huge part of Sage Mode, too)--they go from planet to planet absorbing that chakra into their Divine Trees, and then eating the chakra fruit that the trees produce to become gods. The stuff about humans not having chakra at all before the Otsutsuki came is nonsense; the only source we get that from is Madara, whose information came from the Stone Tablet of Hagoromo, which was altered by Black Zetsu in order to fool and mislead the Uchiha and the Senju (meaning it's an unreliable source, and we see it get contradicted later in the lore). In the case of Naruto's planet, Kaguya had previously cultivated the Divine Tree on another world, and shared the chakra fruit from a previous world with humanity, and this is what gave them the ability to use chakra for supernatural feats like walking on water and breathing fire, in the same way that the Otsutsuki can. They had it before, and always had, but hadn't evolved to use it until Kaguya shared the Chakra Fruit.

Assume every jutsu could deal damage or impact Yamcha including the genjutsu... I still think he could take them all down. His speed alone is too much for these folks, not even counting filler arcs. These characters in DBZ are comedically stronger than your average person... 99% of the Ninja in Naruto are just regular dudes who can breathe fire, shape the earth around them, or whatever. Late stage Naruto, Sasuke, and those stupid aliens that birthed chakra or whatever are his only threat, and even then I do not believe they could damage him, let alone defeat him.

At no point is there a proof of concept (e.g. Dyspo outspeeding a laser or light source), nor even a statement from Bermod or his angel about Dyspo actually moving at or faster than Light Speed--it's just the name of his form. A form that gets beaten by a move Freeza calls the "Cage of Light"...lol Realistically, though, Haku being that fast is his own thing (no one scales to it, just like Roshi's moon feat in early DB), because he's ONLY that fast when moving through mirrors. When he was actually attacking Sasuke and Naruto, he had to just leap between mirrors to attack rather than use the mirror's reflection, because even Haku himself can't attack at light speed. Naruto isn't actually light speed until later, when Madara pulls out an actual pinpoint laser that Sasuke and Naruto are shown as dodging the trajectory of, while the Z Fighters are Relativistic+ in the Saiyan Saga thanks to the speed of Piccolo's ki blast in his moon-busting feat, which makes Kaioken Goku fighting Vegeta faster than light (in short bursts) thanks to the 2-4x multiplier of Kaioken. Considering that narratively speaking, in the manga canon, Yamcha never gets much more powerful than Saiyan Saga Goku or Vegeta (Gero and Android 19 even mistake Yamcha for Goku from the Saiyan Saga based on his power level), he's about on par with the end-tiers of Naruto's speed feats, which means getting tagged by any of the high tiers (Juubito, Juubi Madara, So6PSM Naruto and Sasuke, Kaguya) very likely. It just so happens that all five of these Naruto top-tiers have a guaranteed win-button against Yamcha if they can score a hit on him with it, too; for Naruto, Obito, and Madara, they have the Truth-Seeking Orbs, while Sasuke has Amaterasu and Kaguya has her Ash Bones. Now add in Madara's Limbo clones that Yamcha can't see or sense, Kaguya's dimension shifting and portals, and Sasuke's position swap ability...getting a sure-kill strike on Yamcha is even more feasible, especially if it's all at once.

Short answer: No. Long answer: The speed scale of the Naruto universe goes higher than the speed scale of the DB Universe, in pure physical speed, as well as having an advantage when it comes to perception enhancements. While the DB Universe offers greater feats for durability and raw damage output, the difference is not so substantial that it renders shinobi incapable of facing the ki empowered fighters of the DB world. And, of course, the fact that these ninja so often use techniques to bypass durability in some way helps lessen the severity of the defensive advantage the DB universe holds. Just... for the record. Haku, the ice style kid from Naruto's first arc. Dragon Ball straight up doesn't surpass the speeds we've literally seen Haku use until the Buu saga, and even then, it's only debatable, and only because of fillers. If we're only counting pure canon, Dyspo is the first character that is definitively faster than Haku. It cannot be overstated how slow the DB universe is by comparison. And, in regard to the damage output factor... these shinobi are already used to dying to the first thing that hits them. It doesn't matter whether they get vaporized or atomized, largely, because a hole in the chest still kills them anyway. Except when it doesn't, but those are the outliers. Being clear though... we literally have to be talking outliers, not averages. Because the average power levels of a fighter in the DB universe is comically low, to the point that they'd all die to ninja academy students. But, the top DB characters are all monstrously strong. The gap between the grunts and the elites is massive in Naruto too, just nowhere near as large. Medium answer: Yamcha literally doesn't have the stats to beat most jonin level fighters, and should lose to a large number of chunin as well. If you asked about Perfect Cell instead, this would be a significantly more interesting question, because he at least has the stats to actually participate in fights.

I would like to bring up that chakra in Naruto is due to Kagia coming down and getting clapped. She even states all the chakra is hers during he fight with Naruto and Sasuke cause it was from her bloodline. Yamcha isn't an Otsutsuki so no chakra.

Chakra had to be given to the people in the world naruto is in by the sage of six paths because he was born from kaguya who (was an alien) and also ate the fruit from the god tree. They didnt naturally have chakra or have access to it it wasnt latent and it wasn't developed it was given then passed down hereditarily and became their life force but they had been able to live without it until they recieved it then it became mandatory for their bodies to survive... fair trade off i think.

I could be wrong about when the idea was introduced, but wasn't chakra artificially introduced to the Naruto world by Kaguya and the Sage using the chakra tree? And given it's something passed down, that would imply that regular animals likely *don't* have chakra, but there are *other* kinds of energy, separate to chakra ninja use, and naturally occurring, ie "nature chakra". Given 6 year olds can access chakra in Naruto just by finding an on switch, while it takes years of dedicated training to even access chi in dragon ball (for humans at least), that would suggest that Yamcha, at a bare minimum, is Sage Jiraya level in terms of raw power. And given the focus on martial arts in DBZ, in terms of combat capability would be similar to Rock Lee. So maybe not able to blow up the planet, but definitely top tier in Naruto, and he doesn't need to do a temporary power up to achieve that (sage mode)

No. Chakra already exists. The otsutsuki simply harvest it. Ninshu and the Ninjutsu that stemmed from it were spread by Hagoromo, but that's a concept tangentially related to chakra, not the source of it. Chakra is bodily and spiritual energies combined. In other words, life force + ki. We've seen dragon ball characters incorporate both into attacks, making them dramatically stronger in the process. Senjutsu chakra incorporates nature energy along with those bodily and spiritual energies... the Spirit Bomb works on a similar principle.
