I am a USPS mail carrier and You're definitely right about the priority mail boxes, especially since they are still bundled in shrink wrap. It expressly says on the boxes that they are property of the usps and are not for resale. Federal law. You can order them packaged like that from usps and they will ship them to you for free, or you can get them free at the post office. Reselling for profit is totally wrong.

At about 1:45. The wooden mortar and pestle. That WAS a hand carved into the end of the pestle. The hand was carved in a fist with the thumb under the pointer finger. Called a “figa”, It’s a Brazilian good luck charm. Often found as small pendants, also often made of carved wood. Somewhat superstitious symbol of fertility and good luck. To ward off the “evil eye “ and such.

OMG that Johnny Was Dress!!! I was hoping it was a Large and was going to ask what you would sell it for. I was so excited earlier this week I found a beautiful bright pink Johnny Was top and was shocked no one purchased since it was the week before color. Well even though I held it up more than once, I missed that it had a big square cut out at the bottom... I don't think I could fix or do anything with it to at least keep it for myself... You always find nice things and it is because of you I have a nice little collection of raku...

I had an old set of the Tfal pans. A friend ga e me there set of the stainless Emeril pans plus i have my grandmas cast iron and her Guardian ware from the 50s. Both sets are amazing. I always thought i needed nonstick but a well made pan works much better

I found Priority envelopes and boxes at two different thrift stores. I took them to the counters and told them it was illegal and they didn't want to take a chance with Federal postal inspectors, especially since the boxes are free. One clerk/manager was irritated with me and the minute I left he put the envelopes back on the shelf. I felt like calling the post master! I didn't and coincidentally that shop closed shortly after that visit. Karma?

At around 2:55. The oregon myrtle wood plaque with the horse painted on it, I would have loved to have that. I sort of collect myrtle wood. Being from Oregon, I love that wood and things made of it. That wood only grows in Oregon and somewhere in the holy land. And I also love horses.

I know that Myrtlewood is desirable to a lot of people, I would’ve bought that piece I just felt like the artwork on it wasn’t that great and it didn’t have any kind of outer ceiling to protect it??? But it definitely was affordable so if it’s still there next visit I’ll pick it up for you 💜

Hi, I believe Calphalon isn't Teflon, it's anodized aluminum, so not toxic. However, once the anodized surface gets scuffed, everything sticks to it! I Finally dumped my old Calphalon for high end stainless. Of course, I live my cast iron!

But remember the cost of shipping… I like to work with worsted weight #4 type yarn. One average skein can make a hat. Sometime two. So if you need 2 colors, 2 skeins could make 3 or 4 hats. I don’t mind going and picking up new yarn. I’ve been wanting to do something nice for you for a long time. Making you hats is perfect! You just tell ME what colors, what type of yarn you like ( wool, acrylic, etc). Oh and send me the book or a copy of the the pattern. 🥰🥰🥰

Goodwill seems to be able to operate outside the law's reach. I see those USPS shrink wrapped lots of free boxes there too. I've even told a manager and they shrug their shoulders and leave it on the shelf. I also am angry to see obvious fake purses and shoes in their cases with $30- $100 price tags. So frustrating! My friend bought a Prada bag a few days after I saw it. I knew it was fake but she bought it for her niece's birthday present. The niece knew it was fake, too, but didn't tell my friend.

I have soooo much to learn about vintage clothing. Love, love the pickups you made. I've gotten to where I'm really into golf apparel. I don't golf, but I love the breathability/flexibility of the crop pants, skorts and the sleeveless tops for just running around. Very forgiving when you are out sweating to death at the College World Series lol.
