These videos are as satisfying as digging into a jewelry jar myself. I would probably hang that silver peace pendant on that cute silver chain bracelet, but I'd also keep them both.

The silver-coloured beads with Greece on them which you thought were prayer beads are actually called Worry Beads - used to keep your hands busy - a bit like a fidget widget.

Those silver beads from Greece are actually called worry beads, (rather than prayer beads) :-) Called a komboloi-may help with your research :-)

Thanks for all your advice and videos. I listed my first item, and it sold. If you hadn't mentioned in an earlier video that you could sell eye glass cases, I would not have reached deep into the bins for this find. It was a Ray Ban case, with Ray Bans inside! Thanks to you for my great profit. :)

I love the Peace Sign. It’s just the right size to wear with a casual t-shirt and jeans.

I think those little staple things are used to hold down a watch or bracelet in a long watch/bracelet jewelry box. Sometimes the jewelry stores take them out before selling.... I wonder if they would be gold in a really fancy store (: I bought a jade bangle in a really nice store in Sydney, their business card was a think layer of 20k gold encased in plastic, with a keychain loop. So.. you never know.

The unusual little girl pendant necklace art work is by artist Mark Ryden.
@mspitstoptoyou4 жыл бұрын
No, it's a female artist, Italian I believe. I am a fan but can't remember her name now... I've used her paintings as my avatar... I will find it and get back to you!
@essanchezblanco4 жыл бұрын
@@mspitstoptoyou you mean Nicoletta Ceccoli? I thought that too!! But they are so similar that I would need to properly check to be sure. Apparently, there's a controversy out there regarding imitation and plagiarism. So Margaret, there are definitely fans of both artists in the market, you just need to tell them apart because it's not easy. I have a Nicoletta Ceccoli tarot deck (creepy as anything ).

@@essanchezblanco & @La Maison du Chat I could see how you could mix up the two artists works, they have a similar style, but this is definitely a Mark Ryden. A well known American artist, lives in Portland, Oregon. I don't know if he has offered jewelry, or if some one randomly chose to make jewelry and used his image, or possibly licensed his art to use on jewelry.

This piece is titled "Fountain", was an oil painting on panel, dated 2003.
@lyndapayne32984 жыл бұрын
It's a Mark Ryden inspired cameo, I found it on Google images. He painted it with oils in 2003 & called it 'Fountain'. I've seen it in different formats. I'd def check it out even if it's just a copy (as it's so small) his paintings were considered shocking but I found them to be interesting but quite weird. I'd certainly know if I saw another one now, every days a school day as they say!

those silk-wrapped beads... my mom and her friends thought those were just *fantastic* in the late '70s early '80s. Mom was so sure I would love them... I have some she gave me but not my style really. But yeah, they were 'a thing' for a while there.

OMG! I got one of those Athens pieces in one of my boxes! Mine says Athens on one side with the Olympic Rings and says 2004. It is also blank on the other side. I told my husband I had NO IDEA what it was. Would love to know what it is, when you find out!

I loved the sorting parts this time as it helped me learn a solution. Seriously I can't list it all. I am starting right now as soon as my coffee is made and doing things a bit different. I have so much now, I can't do each and every thing. Lots are good. Trash cans are good too! LOL
