Hi! I'm 99% sure all of the smaller odd shaped stones on the necklace are all fluorite (no quarts or amethyst). Fluorite comes in green, purple, blue, clear, and sometimes yellow for the most part. I collect rocks and minerals. : ) The larger round beads probably are amethyst like you said. Very nice necklace!

I have several pieces of Jewel Kade. You can Google the brand and get more information. Some of the charms, like the one you have, are very popular . They also make beautiful wrap around leather bracelets. Most charms are made to order, depending on what you would like encased in the glass and pewter housing. I actually just looked, and found one very similar to the one you have, going for about $40.00, on ebay. 😊

The chips in that are actually all different colors of fluorite, though I agree the round beads are amethyst! Fluorite comes in wide range of colors representing some variation of every color in the rainbow as well as clear or milky, with blue being the rarest color. It sometimes comes in a layered form called rainbow fluorite, most commonly a combination of greens, clear, milky, purples, and a touch of blue... but rainbow fluorites with greater contrast and sharply defined layering can be more valuable. You can tell the difference between a fluorite and a variety of quartz not by the color but by the sheen and how light moves through it. Quartz is glassier, while fluorite has a haziness to it even at it's clearest, and a satin sheen to it's surface instead of the high gloss look of polished or cut quartz. That's the quickest way to tell the difference. It's also a 4 on the hardness scale where as quartz is a 7.

Don't lot the gold-filled! It's a much different process than plating, and is a much thicker layer of gold. Definitely worth scrap if you don't sell the pieces themselves. But I'd try selling the pieces first. Gold-filled is actually worth much more than sterling. Gold-filled jewelry/supplies are considered a lifetime/heirloom product

For $19.99, that's a great box. Certainly better than most Goodwill jewelry jars at that price. If you lay a soft, heavy fabric over your display tray, you won't get all the "clacking" noise in your videos. Better yet, fabric alone would work better than the tray. Thanks for sharing the box. I'm curious about trying one myself.

you might be able to sell that weird necklace (at 12.30) if you put keywords in like "Burner necklace", "Burning Man jewelry", Burning Man Jewelry Lot" etc. People who go to Burning Man wear really bizzare and unusual jewelry and outfits. And they will pay a lot of money for items. Look up Burning Man images and see what people are wearing. In a video you did from 2018 you had a couple of amazing pieces that Burners would have loved to have. I didn't post about it in that video since I doubt you read comments from posts that old. But keep in mind Burning Man when you find weird stuff. (Especially stuff that doesn''t have anything that can fall off since Burners are not allowed to leave a single piece of glitter on the ground after BM is over, as it must pass the Bureau of Land Management's final examination of the area afterwards.)

EDIT: I hadn’t seen your gold & silver (or stones) discoveries when I posted the first reply. I think this still applies but to a lesser extent. I really hesitate to respond because it may come across negatively. But I mean this in the kindest way. Sourcing IS fun. But if you’re backlogged so much that you can’t take the time to sell, maybe it’s time to stop buying these boxes until you get further along in your listings. You seemed to have a few items (half a dozen or so) that you were on the fence on, but then quickly put it in with the lots. This is the hardest thing to work on. And if you’ve increased your weekly goal for 2020, you need to get everything you have listed! Or be ruthless and get rid of what you haven’t listed. Either donate it, or put it on sale - create interest in your listings by offering things at a loss, just to get rid of them. They call it a loss leader in retail. Your death pile costs you money. Make your listings work for you rather than having inventory sitting on a shelf costing you space, your time (and clogging your brain with negativity) which wears you down.

Why would you tell everybody where you are buying stuff at? You are growing competitors. And after videos like yours every cheaper place like shopgoodwill gets not that cheap at all. Their lots are now super expensive from 45$ and up to 200$. People flooded the website. As well as bluebox from Goodwill. However, I understand that you are trying to help others but that's one of the main reasons why you don't have much sales going on. If 1000 people have watched your video means they will go ahead and do what you are doing. And buy where you are buying from. Not a hater and I like you and your chanel.

I see what you are saying but I like that info.
@taroyuliapetrova4 жыл бұрын
@@raindrop5273 that's understandible
@lesliejohnson72474 жыл бұрын
I disagree. First off, people are lazy. If 1,000 watched the video, more than 800 wouldn’t even *think* of doing it. That just SOP averages. Secondly, of the 200 left, probably less than a dozen would actually consider doing it. It took 32 minutes to film this & we all know it’s edited down. If you’re going to be cut throat about it from a pure business standpoint, she’s not making much money compared to the time she has in it. And finally, one of the things that pretty cool about KZbin resellers is that they do share. When you’re freed up to share, you don’t spend any time at all protecting your business. Instead you’re positively opening yourself up to opportunities. For example, she may find a person that likes how she separates the lots & offer her more than lot price for her curated product. Or someone will contact her with their own lots because they’re looking for higher end deals. I’d bet that she rarely sees an increase in competition. And even if she does, that keeps her from buying too many. Lol
@taroyuliapetrova4 жыл бұрын
@@lesliejohnson7247 I will disagree with you as a seller as I'm not just a random viewer. I'm not talking about a 1000 people in general but about a 1000 resellers that are looking for new sources to shop at. Some things need to be kept in a secret for your own good. Business is not getting done like that trust me I know what I'm saying. KZbin resellers are cool when they are sharing tips and tricks about platforms and glitches but not the place to buy stuff for resale. "even if she sees an increase in competition it's good because it keeps her from buying more..." - yes it keeps her from buying more good stuff for cheaper price and making more money. But there's nothing to be so happy about
