I have a theory why artwork is doing so well. People are taking down all those stupid signs with words that shout at us about how we should feel, and do in life. Too stressful to look at those everyday when you wake up.. lol We all much prefer bucolic countryside scenes. Less stressful and judgemental. 🤣👋🇨🇦

I wear contacts. My eye dr prescribed one eye for distance and one eye, less dominant eye, for reading. Your brain reads with the correct one and distance with the other. I don’t need readers this way and I see very clearly. I believe that’s called monovision. I love it!!

Pricing may vary because of different people but also there may be a rule in the back about large items not being attractive to resellers. You are unique in that you have a booth. Love the Raku. the back room processers aren’t sophisticated enough to know what real quality or art is. What I f don’t understand is the sticker placement at all thrift stores customers are always pealing them what is so hard about putting them off the mark?!

The pot is not raku, but is a wood fired pot. The gray and dripping effect is created by ash collection on the pot during firing. Great example of the beauty of wood fired pottery.

Goodwill has some prices compared to antique stores. That's about what an antique store might price a creamer sugar set for. Especially since it wasn't a desired name.

Hi Karen! I love to watch you thrift! You are educating me. I love to thrift also, but as you said , the prices are ridiculously high! I live in California and everything is soooo expensive now including donated goods! I also feel like it’s hard to find vintage, nice items. Have a blessed holiday!🎄

Goodwill prices have gotten out of hand. I've seen them price things at full retail! I don't shop there as much as I used to and when I do it's only for things I need. Even then I make sure I'm not being ripped off.
