I like the weird gimmicky ones that are kinda in the middle of flip and smart. If just choosing between flip or smart though I would go with flip. I just like the nostalgia that flip phones have. Most smart phones are pretty similar to each other except the early smartphones. The early smartphones can be pretty cool to see how far smartphones have come from their origins.

Story time: I was in a store recently with my grandma and we were looking at cat toys. One of the brands of cat toys was based on emojis. There was a kicker cat toy that was a big eggplant emoji. I then had to explain to my 80 year old grandma in the middle of the store what the eggplant emoji means in text/internet language so she would know not to text that emoji to anyone(my grandma has been really into sending emojis lately even when she doesn’t know what it means/thinks it means something else).😅

I actually just lost my uncle (my grandmother’s middle son) unexpectedly 2 months ago 3 days before he was scheduled for open heart surgery so my family is going through the grieving process right now. I am so afraid of the day I will lose my grandma because she is my biggest supporter and practically raised me.

@@Catdadstorm i hear ya buddy. my nan was the same way (literally the only person that cared bought me other than dad but he died when i was in care at 8) she gave me all the love and affection i could crave and thats all i needed. she was like your nan, magical. everyone always complains about the elderly but tbh most of them are wonderful. if more young ones were willing to sit down with them and have a chat they'd see that.

My favorite thing to do with old phones is to check out the ringtones 😃 and then wish I could use it and make calls so I could hear it 😂

@@aroundtheblockwithbrock4799 no kiddin bro thats unusal. over here 2g is still running and i have a phone from 2006 that usses 2g and it gets decent serice every time so i dont know if its just the uk running of 2g server and cutting 3g to make way for 5g but all i know is 2g does work so if a device is 3g for example itll sitch to 2g and tell you it can perform better (but t cant as 3g has been turned off)

I had that blackberry bold back in the day (not 100% sure if it’s the same but I had a bold 9700 and it had that leatherish battery cover) I really miss those phones and started buying my old phones I had growing up. I bought two brand new blackberrys for like 40 bucks, I got the original blackberry storm and a storm 2. I also got a blackberry priv from some tweaker on Facebook marketplace for 15 dollars and a pack of cigarettes…he wanted 80 but lowered it to 75, I told him it’s pretty much useless except to collectors since it’s stuck on a older version of android and can’t be flashed with a custom firmware due to blackberry security and he heard collectors and was like o its a collectors item then I want 150 now! I laughed and offered him 15 dollars and a pack of Marlboro blacks(I got a discount on them too since I got them from my work)
